Reta hasn't been officially FDA approved and released yet, but when it does, Eli Lilly will come up with a brand name for it.

What are your best guesses for what it might be?

What would you name it if it were up to you?

All silly and serious answers encouraged.

My guess for what it could be is Adonicity (inspired by Adonis)

What I would call it is Slinky, Slenderize, or Roll Tide? (lol)

Haven't they run out of ridiculous, unpronounceable drug names yet? My vote is for either a mixture of Tibetan throat singing or dolphin sounds.
I'll see your Tibetan throat singing and raise you Tuvan throat singing.

(complete with a great doc https://www.genghisblues.com about the original singer/songwriter of "Jet Airliner.")

Stocks would soar if they had the balls to call it DEEZNUTZ

This thread serves no purpose, you must have a lot of free time on your hands.

I always wonder how they come up with those brand names since they don’t resemble the compound name… Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound??? They’re just running a random word generator and pulling it from a box at this point

Zepbound is the only one that makes some sense, since "zep" shows up in "tirzepatide"

But yeah I think the rest are made-up words that are suppose to remind you of other words you might like.

came back when trireta / tryreta / retatrigon came to mind, even though it’ll be something like pletraidurb or something completely unreasonable
