Those over 50! Looking for advice utilizing peptides to get back into shape. I’m a 52 year old gym rat but have been hampered and recovering from a compound fracture just above my Rt ankle 9 months ago and just had my third surgery 3 weeks ago. I’m 6’6” and was about 280lbs, but built like an NFL lineman but couch surfing from recovering has me up to 340lbs and about to start a round of Reta and BPC-157 but I’m dedicated to really get into shape. I’ve got several bottles of enclomiphene that I haven’t started or ever used and I’m looking for ways to boost my testosterone naturally (currently at 380 ng/dl). I’m not interested in TRT just yet, looking to see if I can boost my numbers naturally but if you could build a stack (CJC-1295 No DAC, HGH 191, HGH 176-191, Ipamorelin, Sermroelin, Tesamorelin etc). What would you use or those that are using? Cancer doesn’t run in my family but a little hesitant on anything that could cause acceleration, I'm a worrisome guy sometimes. What does a good stack look like with good results in muscle growth, recovery and energy while hopefully lowering brain fog, fatigue, poor energy? I have a blood test this week to get a good baseline and will monitor every 3 months afterwards.

First, get a full blood test. Based on the results, use HGH if your IGF-1 isn't very high. Small doses of 2 IU, along with retatrutide will work wonders starting in the 3rd or 4th month. If your testosterone is low, I would start TRT. It's the best thing I've ever done.

This triple combination is far more effective than using either one separately.

I've been on reta and Tesa/Ipa for a while now and really love the combo. It's helped me lose 100lbs and gain a bunch of lean muscle over the last year. But about a month ago I started TRT because nothing I was doing could raise my test. All the lifestyle changes did nothing, tried Mars Men supplements, tried Kisspeptin, tried enclomiphene, nothing was helping. Now that I'm already feeling WAY better, I'm going to be switching from Tesa/Ipa to HGH to see what all the fuss is about.

You're going to see the magic of HGH together with Test and Retatrutide

All these positive stories on TRT are making a convincing case of at least exploring those options alomg with hgh. What are you all using for providers for TRT? Local clinics, online? I live near Boise, Idaho and there a couple Men's health clinics worth checking out, I just didn't know if there is a tried and true online provider most use or they find something local to them. I appreciate everyone that chimed in. I think I was just trying to stay away from the more heavy side effects but like someone said in another thread, there's no free lunch when it comes to this stuff.

HGH would be better than than all of these alone and much cheaper. (CJC-1295 No DAC, HGH 176-191, Ipamorelin, Sermroelin, Tesamorelin
Is HGH 191 = HGH? He list this and I am curious if it is the same as research on web seems to validate this? Any insight is appreciated.

The first thing you should do is get blood tests. I am 64 and my natural test production went from 400ish to 700ish from losing weight and lifting. Had I started TRT that natural testosterone production might be gone for good. The blood tests indicated that my igf1 was a bit low. I was lifting while still loosing weight on trizepatide and I wanted more strength and muscle mass.

I started tessa/ipa and it worked to bump up igf-1, preserve/increase muscle. I have also had great results with Enclo. I have been at my target weight for a while and I am still gaining strength and size.

If you start your Enclo, first make sure it is not clomid. Some pharmaceutical companies mislead and label clomid as Enclo. Enclo will give side effects that can be managed but you need regular blood tests to monitor your hormones. Enclo will lower igf-1. I do tests every month. I have to use an aromatase inhibitor for high estroidal. My total T is stable and north of 1100. There are ways to increase free t and decrease shbg as well. For me tessa/Ipa do a great job of keeping IGF-1 at a decent level. I have not tried HGH mainly because of an unrelated health issue.

If your tests show consistently low T, TRT is much more simple and cheap. When you get tests, get at least:
total t, free t, SHBG, igf1 and estrogen. Do that several times to verify it is stable. Also get your tests in the morning because T will decrease later in the day.

Good luck with your recovery.

Were you taking the Tesa/Ipa separate or did they come 10mg/3mg mixed?

I bought separate vials. That was a good decision for me because I could only use 1 mg of Tessa. 2 mg raised my heart rate too much. I draw both peptides into a single syringe for 1 shot.

Hgh, testosterone, tedalafil, reta.
Getting older doesn't mean you have to feel old. Do blood work and get optimized.
I agree with sfkid. If you have insurance, you should def tell your dr and get the full blood panel including IGF-1, total T and free T.

I don't think my CJC/Ipa evening stack is doing a ton but I sleep well. I benefit a lot from 1mg of BPC-157 & TB-500 with 2mg of GJK-Cu.

I don't think using GH or secretagogs is really worth it if you haven't optimized your testosterone.

I bought my own supply from WWB. But also started going to a local direct care clinic for $80 a month. The compounding pharmacy they go through has Test-C in MCT (my preferred ester and carrier) for $32 for 10ml of 200ml/mg. So I think I'm going to start using their compounded test since it's pretty affordable and then save mine for if I ever want to do a short blast cycle.

59M, recently started 1 iu/day. Had a blood test the other day and glucose dropped from 65 to 49. Should this be temporary? Should i reduce the dosage at least temporarily?

Just get on TRT, you'll feel great

Dude, I don't think you can beat that. Does that include blood tests? Not a deal breaker but if can find something like that in Boise, Idaho, i'm all over that. Or is anyone using a reputable telehealth setup?

You're 52 with low testosterone, TRT is the answer. It's life changing, after 6 months your only regret will be not starting sooner.

Next too stopping smoking in my early 20's, and quiting booze 6 years ago it's the best decision I've made for my health and well being.

The key is to get a good trt doc that doesn't just throw a generic protocol at you. You need someone that does the right bloodwork and shoots for symptom resolution, not just chasing a number.

No, it doesn't cover bloodwork but the labs are pretty cheap. It's like $75 for a full panel of about 30 or so markers. But the great thing is that they don’t just do TRT. It’s a full on medical clinic that is like a second PCP I use for anything that insurance doesn’t cover. Also he told me he will prescribe me Anavar when we talked about AAS. I might take him up on that for a cycle or two lol

I used to use https://marekdiagnostics.com/ for cheap blood tests from labcorp. CBC and CMP are super cheap at $9 each. Used to use, because NY (and NJ) banned self directed blood tests (why??) and now I cannot use them. You can get a fullish (but no testosterone, estrodiol, nor igf1) for $69 from edrugstore.com — it’s intended for pre GLP1–Rx but they don’t seem to know (yet) this is banned in NY. So if you’re not in NY/NJ marek is great.

oh! just found there are whole threads in this forum on blood tests, pointing one towards fitomicslabs.com or goodlabs.com. neither which work well either for me. there’s no goodlabs within 100 miles of NYC and fitomics will NOT even let you order anything from Quest at all if you’re in NY/NJ, but it will let you order from LabCorp, but you must travel to either CT or PA to do the blood draw. Great, an hour+ train ride ($12) and then an uber ($13) each way, which adds $50 extra to each order.

That is wild that you can't request/order your own blood test on a whim. I'm using goodlabs, they have reasonable prices, are all over the pacific northwest and often have discounts. Look up ULTA labs, not sure if they're more available in your area. I just need to find a good TRT doc like Tacolifter420 mentioned that will have my best interest but not charge $300 a month for those interests lol. I'm 6'6" and "was" 270 lbs before my accident 9 months ago (compound fracture above Rt ankle) that sidelined me from the gym and now i'm 340lbs and my e2 shot up to 58. I'm not looking to put on any more muscle just lose a crap ton of fat and maybe a little size because 270lbs is still a lot to carry. I'd love to be 240 lbs. I would be slender and better chance at longevity.

Kuna here, hook an old brother up if you locate something similar in the TV! 😎 👍 👍

Oh yeah, you got it! I have many friends that live in Kuna and they love it but hate the drive, I love it up there too but I'm actually a little south on I-84 working on the base. There are 3 TRT businesses i'm talking to now, just trying to find the one that has more interest in zeroing in on what's wrong rather than just prescribing Test-C and says come back in 3 months for bloodwork.

I don't want to start a fight with the HGH bros, but the human body wants GH pulses, not a GH bath, for good health. Do your own research on the pulse nature of natural GH and how organs respond to it. (Yes, of course bathing your muscles in endogenous GH makes them grow like crazy, not disagreeing with that.)

I'm 71 and have great results with gh secretagogues. My pattern is Sunday - Thursday Ipamorelin + CJC-1295 nodac before bed. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday AM tesamorelin. My IGF-1 is approaching 2x my age adjusted normal, roughly average for mid 40s, so I may have to back off a little on some of the GH secretagogues.
