I want to discuss that blaring banner at the top of the forum...but it isn't a discussion thread.

How many here regularly test for endotoxins? I admit, I do not. I haven't had an issue (yet) but this does concern me that I am potentially missing
a safety signal.

For those who have been testing endos regularly, how often have you noticed concerning results?

For those, like me, who haven't been testing are you considering bringing this on board or continuing with yoloing?

We all know that most US resellers do not test of endotoxins, just mass and purity...no big flags showing up on the socials regarding issues with products
which probably had something to do with my own complacency.

Thoughts?

Out of general concerns this test has raised, I asked chaptgtp about how bad it is. I'll put the response below, but would appreciate anyone more knowledgeable correcting the record or expanding on relevant details

Step 1: Convert “1360 EU/vial” → “EU per dose”​

A 30 mg vial of tirzepatide-type peptide is typically split into multiple doses. Common real-world patterns:

Scenario A: 10 doses per vial (e.g., ~3 mg each)​

  • 1360 EU ÷ 10 ≈ 136 EU per injection

Scenario B: 5 doses per vial (e.g., ~6 mg each)​

  • 1360 EU ÷ 5 ≈ 272 EU per injection

Scenario C: 3 doses per vial (e.g., ~10 mg each)​

  • 1360 EU ÷ 3 ≈ 450 EU per injection
So a realistic range is roughly:

~100–450 EU per weekly injection

Step 2: How that compares to medical limits​

Reference: ~5 EU/kg/hour (≈350 EU/hour for a 70 kg person, IV setting)

Key differences:
  • That limit assumes slow IV exposure
  • A subcutaneous injection is still a bolus relative to that standard, just absorbed more gradually.
  • So:
  • ~100–150 EU → near or below conservative limits
  • ~250–450 EU → approaching or exceeding what’s typically allowed in controlled settings (especially as a bolus-equivalent exposure)

Step 3: What symptoms are likely at these levels?​

~100–150 EU per injection​

  • Many people: no obvious symptoms
  • Some:
    • Mild fatigue
    • Slight headache
    • Subtle heart rate increase

~200–300 EU per injection​

  • Noticeable in a subset of users:
    • Mild “off” feeling within a few hours
    • Occasional chills or temperature sensitivity
    • Heart rate bump (e.g., +10–20 bpm)

~400+ EU per injection​

  • More likely to produce a clear pyrogenic response:
    • Chills / mild fever
    • Headache
    • Fatigue
    • Elevated heart rate
    • Possible lightheadedness (mild BP drop)
Still usually self-limited, but now clearly activating the same inflammatory pathway seen in endotoxemia (at a mild level).

Step 4: Weekly dosing implications​

Because dosing is once per week:
  • Endotoxin is cleared within hours
  • Immune activation resolves over ~1–3 days
So each injection is:
A separate, discrete inflammatory event—not accumulation

Step 5: What repeated weekly exposure does​

Even at moderate per-dose levels:

Possible patterns​

  • No obvious symptoms, but ongoing low-grade inflammatory hits
  • Consistent mild “flu-ish” feeling after each injection
  • Variable reactions week-to-week

Less obvious effects​

  • Slightly elevated resting heart rate the day of/after dosing
  • Transient vascular/inflammatory stress

Step 6: How “bad” is this in practical terms?​

  • It’s not catastrophic at the per-dose levels most likely here
  • But it is well outside pharmaceutical-quality standards
Think of it as:
  • Not acutely dangerous for most people at lower dose splits
  • But not something you’d want repeated regularly either

What about a common dosage of 15 mg per injection?

The 1360EU is an estimate. The actual result could be wildly different.
The confirmed result is 2306EU. In a 30mg vial.
5EU/kg/hr puts the maximum EU for threshold at 350EU per dose in a 70kg person, 500EU in a 100kg person.
As the maximum dose of tirz is 15mg, that is what should be used to determine is a vial is a fail.
2306eu/vial = 1153eu/15mg dose... 3.3x the maximum for an average 70kg person.

Will be interesting to see how JEEP and other vendors approach this...I peaked at JEEPS TG and it is definitely being discussed, but haven't seen anything official from the JEEP reps yet.
 
Those orange tops are everywhere and I know it's been discussed before... But this makes me wonder again about whether this is going to extend far beyond Jeep. I have a freezer full of Mizx 30mg orange tops

Apparently there are two hues of orange. The deep orange/reddish ones are being said to be okay, but the true orange ones (pictured in the warning banner) are the ones in question. Then again...how many are really testing for endos...I know I haven't

There are very few that actually do sterility testing. The standard is testing for mass/purity. Some will test for endo/sterility, but generally only if it meets a certain sales goal in group buys. Even fewer "US peptide companies" (this term is kind of a misnomer as it implies they are made in the US, and they are not) test for endo and sterility. Yes, there are a handful, but they are hard to come by.
 
I was surprised when I first discovered "testing" centered around mass and purity in most discussions. Mass and purity should be the bare minimal IMO.
My understanding is M&P testing has only become common over the last year or 2 and yet even today vendors cheat the system by using forged or out of date M&P COA's and offer no guarantees on sterility or endo contents.
They go out of their way to disguise or hide custody chains so there's no way to truly trace batches or bad actors. Much of this is by design and somewhat understandable, vendor business competition and manufacturers needing to distance themselves from involvement in gray markets.
The only power we have is to move vendors to demand higher standards is by punishing them by taking their market away. If they release a "bad product" they must make it right with everyone affected. It can not be profitable for them to handle bad product, in fact it has to hurt them or they will continue to poison their customers.
Vendors like Uther purposefully hiding bad endo tests after they knowingly bought endo tainted raws is a prime example. Uther deserves the market death penalty.

Coupled with the increase of minimum buy and the thanks for nothing attitude, it is not exactly making me want to purchase from again.

What would buying from them accomplish? They don't make them, so it'd be no different than buying and joining a test group yourself. Not ripping on them.

As much as group buy organizations can be a shitshow (sooner or later), there's something to be said for those that have been around a long time, handled lots of problems well, have a large enough customer base / sales volume, AND are ethical enough to make 2.5th party testing (wide and deep) possible.

In related news, I'm glad I have a 6 year supply of tirz on hand, so I can read the archived coroner's Certificates of Expiration before using a kit.

A vendor here, had failed sterility. I used it and got sick (as documented here), went to the vendor and they just said "throw it all away", with no offer to refund or replace. I bought 6 kits of orange cap T30 from them and 2 from JEEP. Only used the other vendor so far, but I know it'll be the same. I tried reaching another rep to see if I could get a different response, but they told me to piss off too.

I meant buy the ones they already tested so I don't have to buy, wait, test, wait, consume/destroy. But I totally get your point.
