I didn't get it from Mots. I was blasting 10mg, 3x per week. I also didn't get much anything else from it. Guess I am already optimized. Am jealous of everyone that gets results from Mots. Lucky bastards. No histamine reaction from any of my friends/family (just over 30 of us) from Reta. MOTS, that's a different story, especially at higher doses.
Wow. How long did you run MOTS? I'm doing a different protocol this go around, with NAD+. Started at 200mcg/day, titrating up an additional 200mcg/day every couple of weeks. So far, so good. Low and slow!I didn't get it from Mots. I was blasting 10mg, 3x per week. I also didn't get much anything else from it. Guess I am already optimized. One time, I had the same reaction. One week later pinned with same vial, waited with epipen, but no reaction. Don't know what did caused this.Has anyone had Reta have a histamine reaction with swelling with a large red area around injection site with itching!
Never with Reta or Tirz.Has anyone had Reta have a histamine reaction with swelling with a large red area around injection site with itching!
6 weeks...I think.Wow. How long did you run MOTS? I'm doing a different protocol this go around, with NAD+. Started at 200mcg/day, titrating up an additional 200mcg/day every couple of weeks. So far, so good. Low and slow!
Noodle? Pretty sure you meant needle, unless that's some new hip term to use. 😁Nope, nothing happens, no bruise or itching. It felt like I used water. I use a generic, no name brand 6mm 31G noodle from the 'Zon so nothing fancy, goes in smooth like butter doesn't hurt and no issue with pulling/pushing
I've been on forums/groups for the brand stuff for ~2 yr and I'm ngl I never heard ppl having "histamine reactions" until I stumbled in the grey side of things. I get the vibe you have a bad batch or your water is bad or your noodle is bad
Yea I agree! They were fairly large and looked bad!Localised injection site reactions are very common with semaglutide and tirzepatide, have not seen as many people online mention it for reta , but given the molecule is nearly identical, it makes sense for it to happen with reta as well. Too long since I read the studies to remember how common it was there. It is not normally the bac water, it is normally the drug that you have an immune reaction to.
The thing that concerns me a bit with your reaction is the size. Most ISR's are fairly small. Even the tiniest bit of evidence for a generalised allergic reaction should make you stop using it, and if large reactions are occurring then you might have to stop it anyway and switch to tirz instead. Cross reactions to different GLP's are rare so switching should solve the problem.
Mots wiped me out. I stopped after 3 weeks and my diet, supplements & exercise is always locked in. I’m going to try SS31 then mots to see if there’s better results!I didn't get it from Mots. Yea he’s about to call it quits!a friend of mine has been getting giant red welts from the reta, same batch as me - she's tried all the tricks I could think of but every week it was worse so she has to discontinue use.
Interesting about the KPV... wonder if it will help with my skin sensitivity/allodynia from the Reta. I have a kit on the way so we shall see.I haven't with Reta, but I sure did with Tirz! To the point that I had to stop using it. I can not confirm that this is why I haven't had a reaction with Reta, but I also do a 500mcg injection of KPV about two inches away from where I inject the Reta on injection day. I find it also helps me with the skin-sensitivity-death-itching between my shoulder blades I get the day after injecting Reta.
That's odd you don't get it from the gray! Is the food noise reduction about the same? The same thing happened to me many times but using a Mounjaro pen from EL but since I moved to the gray stuff nothing at all. Some of those red lumps used to itch like crazy
Every single time. Lasts about a week and a half. Flares even worse at night when cortisol drops and histamine rises. Sometimes comes with this red outline. KPV doesn't help. Hell, my KPV injections swell and flare too. Fun times!Has anyone had Reta have a histamine reaction with swelling with a large red area around injection site with itching!

Very valid question..Question for those who get histamine responses from GLPs:
Are you filtering?
