I have spent the last ten days hesitating, procrastinating, deliberating, and wasting. Due to the shutdown/seizure, I couldn't bring myself to start using Reta. I only have 3 vials I got locally. Finally, my Fvck it gene kicked in, today I reconstituted and stabbed Reta in. I started with 1mg. I messed up using the filter so am sure the dose wasn't kosher, but screw it.YOLO.

Does anybody have any tips, apart from getting a will done? I am 253lbs now. I will of course put updates when they're worthy of mention.

Anyway, I'm officially a Retatrudite now. Let the games begin! 😈 😎 🆒

Thanks...those 2 things are definitely going to be my toughest opponents. I give Gluttony performance anxiety
 
My suggestion would be exercise!

I’ve maintained a muscular build even into a staunch deficit, losing ~2.5lb per week, by weight training very intentionally 2-3 times per week, aiming for at least 100g of protein/day even on my lowest calorie days (missed that mark a few times), being deliberate about recovery, and, admittedly using testosterone - a replacement dose though.

If weight loss and improved look is your goal, like it was mine, I’ll advise you that the weight loss can be pushed to be rapid if you can tolerate the side effects. I titrated up until I experienced side effects, then backed very slightly off.

Drink lots of water. Have sleep meds available for occasional use. Use electrolytes. Have Tylenol on hand. Eat less, more often. Drink protein shakes.

Also, if your skin gets sensitive - shaving the affected body part can help.
 
Protein replacement drinks has done wonders for me while on Reta, it allows me to get my protein in without having to feel like I'm force feeding myself. 230g / day for me has done wonders with weight loss and keeping muscle.

Titrate low and slow! Don't follow the EL official schedule. One advantage of grey market is you can go at your own pace. Most of the side effects come from titrating up too fast. I started at 1mg. Cool. Nothing happened. I went to 2mg the next week. Cool. I went to 3mg the following week. I had diarrhea for a week. I went back down to 1mg and started over slowly. No problems after that.
 
Okay, so I get it now. My profile here no longer carries the "No Source Discussion" Banner, and I have become a GLP-1 Apprentice. So, all one has to do is start taking Reta and they get their restrictions lifted. It's definitely not because I completed two weeks here today, nope.😉 😈 😎
 
Understand that reta is slow, 8 weeks minimum before you will lose weight. You may need to titrate up to 4mg to 6mg before anything happens. At your weight understanding that your calorie requirements may be very low due to metabolic adaptation. 800 calories a day finally got me losing. You may be very hungry when you first start as the appetite suppression doesn't engage for a bit. Use a low calorie high protein meal replacement powder because that's the only way you can get enough protein with these calorie reductions. The one I use is 120 calories for every 23g protein and uses grass fed beef and veggies for the protein. Magnesium 1000mg, electrolytes, creatine, and a few prunes all keep the system humming.

With all due respect, I can't agree with on a lot of this, esp........

Everyone reacts differently to the peptide. Some people have a major appetite suppression with just 5.0mg.
Others like myself had none, not even at 8mg.

I lost weight immediately and steadily since I started in January at 0.5mg

Try to eat real food as much as possible and keep the replacement stuff as a last resort.
I started with 1900 calories, 140g protein and 25g fibre right from day one; eating every 2/2.5 hours smaller meals and still do it to this day.
Starting weight was 165lbs - now at 141lb

Sadly, my insurance dumped me and since my last name isn't Bezos or some version of "Stein", I can't do tests in this land.

Being that the person is 253 lbs they will likely respond differently than you, have metabolic adaptation and severe insulin resistance. My advice is based off a person who has difficulty losing weight due to metabolic adaptation over years. But I fully agree to start low and titrate slowly.

I hate body hair too, but I hate having to shave even more. Such a chore. Damn the lengths a man has to go to procure adoration from those without a Y chromosome. As if stabbing oneself with several Chinese molecules wasn't enough, now I have to become a regular barber too? Man, fudge this feces.

I hear you, Sir. I was diabetic before, and was around 340lbs when I had the Sleeve gastrectomy. It's near certain that I've some metabolic maladaptation.

In order of most frequently shaved to least, arms, chest, legs, back. I love how it looks and feels. I had to upgrade razors and invest in some shaving oil though.
