How are the anti-inflammatory properties?

Are the anti-inflammatory effects as good as tirzepatide? Im looking at trying a low dose with someone who has a connective tissue disorder. No need for weightloss, but would love to feel better.

I don't know if it has an option for a low dose other than the starter dose since it's a pill.

However if you're open to injections, tirz probably would allow you to do a super low dose. I've heard of ppl on reddit doing 0.25mg or 0.50mg weekly for inflammation, but I don't know if they stayed that low forever.

It's for my 18 year old. She will have to manage it in college. I thing a pill would be easier. I think it would be tough for her tough for her to prep a custom injection and keep things sterile. Im open to cutting pills, but so far, I can only find 6 and 12 mg. Maybe I'll try .5 of tirz while she is home for summer break. If that works, we can figure something out for the school year. I totally understand. I’d want to keep it as simple and foolproof too, especially since college is enough to deal with without extra stuff. Pills would be simpler, so I’m hopeful that people report anti inflammatory effects with it so yall can have an easy way to manage.

If cost is not a factor, you could consider getting compounded tirz so she doesn’t have to recon anything. They usually send all the supplies at the time too. Some of the telehealth providers are prescribing at micro doses so the concentration would be low anyway. Some Reddit people report freezing the extra vials and only defrosting when it’s time to start using - but that’s a ymmv type of thing.

Pens might be an option as well. I’ve heard people freezing the extra cartridges of tirz without issue. I guess this assumes her dorm room has a mini fridge/freezer. I haven’t used pens myself, but tons of users on here prefer it over drawing up syringes weekly. That would be something maybe yall could prep ahead of time to last her for awhile.

Careful with that. Many of these "doctors" are risking their credentials and "prescribing" the same Chinese gray market stuff that we buy at insane markups.

Setting up a pen for them is a good idea. You get control over the doses and they don't have to do anything but swab the area with an alcohol pad and change the needle after.
