What pens do you love and where are they easiest to source?

I promise I'm not lazy, just annoyed and overstimulated. I have read so many threads on pens that I'm now dazed and confused, and not because I'm toking the reefer. I would really appreciate (and maybe others would too) one thread with everyone's faves that I can then go research to find the best for me.

Now with multiple daily pins I've gone over to multiple pens. Though I don't have a ton of experience with different pens. I use a Nest Pen (manual) and a Convipen (auto). They are both fine. Both tested accurately I'm not sure that I think one is better than the other. I do like that the Nest product is a more polished product (but that is more packaging). I will note that my mom has had some issues using the Nest Pen, so I'm going to get her an auto.

Here are some sites that I've personally used recently;

https://www.daropep.net/shop/ (might be down?)

I haven't used this site but it is also popular ;

I have 8 pens. Bought all of them from peppens.com. I use the V2's. I've had no issues with them, tested the accuracy using diabetic syringes.

I had a V2 that I bought from Amazon, was 2x the price, and was terribly inaccurate. Avoid those, buy the peppens instead.

Okay noob question. I'm pinning myself like 8 times a day.

If I use a pen instead, how would that help me? Is it reusable? Does it hurt less? Is the needle shorter or longer so I can use it anywhere on my body? What's the pros/cons?

I recommend Convipen and the Gensupen both are automatic. It’s easier to do every day.

Less waste
You only have to purge the air once.
Smaller needles
Less time spent
reusable

If you're overwhelmed and tired of reading all the nuances of pens, then an excellent choice is to just go to The Pep Pens, buy yourself some V1's, a whole bunch of cartridges, a box of 5mm and 8mm needle tips, and then just go on with your life.

I did that, then started going down a pen rabbit hole, then two months later I threw out the shitty fake v2's I got from Alibaba, went back to using my v1's and almost never thought much about pens again because I don't need to. I don't need to endlessly optimize my pens, or hunt the latest and greatest.

The pens are reusable. You reconstitute a peptide, draw into a syringe, then fill a new pen cartridge (with a filter), and put it in the pen.

Once it's in the pen, pinning is a 30sec ordeal. You clean the end of the cartridge, put on a needle (or reuse as you see fit), and jab/click. Easy.

You really have to have a pen for each 'tide you're pinning. Swapping the cartridge for multiple 'tides would take away any of the convenience.

I bought my first pen because the GHK-Cu I was pinning was quite painful. I had read that pinning in the glutes was much less painful. Hard to do that with a diabetic syringe!

But in the time I waited for the arrival of the pen, I found a spot about 2" lower where there is no pain, so I've just been using the pen there.

Pros: They do hurt less. My pen needles are smaller than my diabetic syringes. If you're squeamish, you can buy a V2 pen and you don't even see the needle. They are convenient. Time saver. Fiddly to fill and prep once, but then super easy for the rest of the 3ml vial. I think it raises less eyebrows at a security checkpoint to see a few pens in a case vs a pile of vials of unlabeled white powder and diabetic syringes. (The checkpoints I have to clear aren't just at airports).

Cons: they cost. Not a lot, but when you've got 8 or so, it adds up. You have to buy cartridges. But if you're filtering, you'd need either those or sterile vials to transfer your 'tides into after reconstituting, so that extra cost is irrelevant.

This is honestly super helpful - I think I needed someone to say, buy these from here and move on. They're kinda pricy so I didn't want to buy shitty pens and regret the purchase... there are so many more peptides to buy instead.

Why the needle tip variation?
do they make pens that hold more than 3mL qtys, or do you just have to split your peps that require additional mL's - like 5mL's of NAD would require 2 x 3mL cartriges, when you burn through the first 3mL you plug and play the second?

I'll second the sharpness/convenience and also add that there's just a lot less "sharps" garbage. You just have the tiny. pen needles! If you use 8 insulin syringes a day you're going to fill up a box in a week or two.

Some things you want to pin deeper to reduce mast cell response (ISR) like KLOW/GHK-Cu. Most things are easy to pin with 32ga, but if you're reconning something thick you might want a 29ga so it flows faster (more important with the spring loaded autopens like Convi/Gansu/Allstar.
Also, if you're choosing between V1&V2 pens, you're really selecting whether you want to see the needle before you jab or cover it up so you don't have to look (like the EL Novo pens).

The cartridges are all 3ml, when I recon my 100mg 5-amino, I use 5 ml of Bac water and put it into two cartridges

I think pens are so much quicker & easier to use.

You dont have to worry about the needle getting dull/er 1st drawing whatever you are using.

The 32g 4mm are so small & you can barely feel those.

I got all my supplies from Goodies. I like buying from them. To me it feels like a smaller family business & they have been really nice.

I have several of the Mrs goodlifes but just got this one & its so smooth https://goodlifesupplies.com/product/v4/ even more than the Ergo2.

Their 32g 4mm tips are even better than name brand too!!

I can't get in there, they want a password that I don't have to access

They have a great site!
Is the 32g 4mm tip the G-care tip?
I really like the other ones its without a brand. I have no idea how they are so good. Tried other brands but these are so much better!!

Also if you are using Tirz they have bac sodium chloride for a great price too H brand!! work for some others too but not Reta

I just took a brief look and I'm already overwhelmed. Does this show my IQ? 🥹

I should just stick to recycling my Sharps gallon container every month....

Do I get V1 pens? There are slims and regulars, brand names and not, different sized needles, different colors dammit. They all have different functions and features wtf... Half of them are sold out on daro and goodies.

Not at all, I get overwhelmed easily too. Its a lot!! I tried goodies, they have great prices & customer service so just stuck with them.

The pen I just got from there V4 is excellent. Super smooth (better than the Ergo2 even which is known to be great & smooth). The Metallic Grey is much prettier in person too. They're in stock too

Okay, so get the V4 pens.

If I have about 14 different peptides, I should get 14 pens right?

And they are all reusable? I can use them as much as I want to?

I'm assuming cartridges are separate and must be bought and are not reusable... ?

Sorry. 😭

Dont feel bad, you can ask me.

Out of the ones Ive tried I really like it (like I was saying its so smooth) & am going to buy more of those. You might want to get different colors of them or label them to make sure you know whats inside. You can share pens with carts (I only do 2 so I had 1 pen to start & just added that new one). As long as you dont choose a disposable pen they are reusable https://goodlifesupplies.com/product/v4/

You need these https://goodlifesupplies.com/product/3ml-pen-cartridge/ Pen carts are not reusable. The ones they offer are sterile

I do like to filter its up to you

You need luer lock needles to fill & 1 to vent (just the tip to vent).

I appreciate you.

Try this sharps container - just cut the tip... haha just the tip... and throw the rest in the trash, it's great and then you don't have to have the gallon size sharps container.
I also appreciate you.

I was beginning to wonder how I would recycle the 2 gallon sharps containers.... 🤣 🤣 🤣
