After many weeks on 250mcg and fewer weeks on 350mcg, I moved up to 500mcg. I am at the absolute border of okay. Like I like what it is doing but if it did any more, things would be rough.

My question is, do I do the same dose for a second week and that will be fine because my body will have started adjusting or do I knock it down because the accumulation would take me beyond the 500mcg into the danger zone. I just want to stay exactly like this.

I know it's hard to say but just curious about opinions.

I started Cag last week. Why are you moving up? Is it not effective at the lower dose or is the effectiveness fading?
I pinned 250mcg last week and 350mcg last night. Haven't got anything out of it yet. My plan was to use it as a compliment to a low maintenance dose of Reta.

I felt nothing at 250, a little something at 350 but felt like it could be better. I'm also using 12.5mg of Tirzepatide.

That's basically me right now. This week I pinned 266 mcg of cagri, and I've been on reta for 8 weeks and have been on the same low maintenance dose of 1 mg. So I'm just using the cag as a complement. And what I've noticed is my appetite and hunger have been zero, and it has been zero ever since I started reta. But when I introduced cagri, I'm not sure yet, it's only been a few days, but I think my digestion has gotten even slower than when I was just simply on reta. And I feel as though the food is just sitting in my stomach for longer, which to me is a good feeling. And I like that feeling because it keeps me full. And whenever I do start to eat anything ,I get instantly full more than when I was just on reta. its kinda crazy now.

what you should do is stick with 500 mcg for several weeks because it does take some weeks for cag to stabilize in your body till it reaches steady levels.

I started at 500mcg and that probably wasn’t the smartest decision, but now that I’m on that dose, I’m plowing ahead. Took my third dose of 500mcg on Monday.

I would think that the difference between 350mcg and 500mcg is really not that much. Cagri has a longer 1/2 life than tirz and reta, so you are correct that since this was your first 500mcg dose that you haven’t reached the full effects of that dose, but whether that would put you in a “danger zone” is unlikely. I’m not even sure what danger zone means.

In the phase 3 cagrisema study the standard titration was 250mcg for 4 weeks then to 500mcg for 4 weeks, and then 1mg for 4 weeks, etc. Those are 100% increases each dose. Your increases have been much less than that, so I think you’ll be okay.

Yeah, danger zone was a bit hyperbolic. I just meant that if the Cagri goes any harder, I won't be able to eat at all. Tempting for quicker weight loss but not ideal, of course.

Yup, I get what you mean now. And yes, I agree that's a real risk with cagri. And while it's tempting to just not eat, that's really not ideal as you mention. I've been struggling to meet my daily calorie goal, which was already at a large deficit. All I can do is focus on protein.

How did you come to that dose? 266 seems like it would be hard to draw that dosage consistently?

haha. Yeah, 266 micrograms is a bit odd. The plan was to get it to 250 mcg, but what ended up happening was I have the cagri in a 10 mg vial. I added 3 ml of bac water and to get it to 250 mcg, I would need to draw the syringe to 7.5 units, and that's pretty hard to do, so I just draw to 8 units, which ends up being 266 micrograms.

I wasn't asking about standard titration schedules, I understand how to do that. I was asking how much more a second dose of the same amount would likely affect me vs the first dose. I didn't want it to be much stronger because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to eat. But I pinned it last night so we're gonna find out!
