I’ve never been very heavy, in fact I grew up as a super skinny kid who could not gain weight for the life of me. Add hormones, and my lower body started disproportionately get thick even when my upper body was very fit with defined abs etc. The diagnosis was lipedema. But, given my active lifestyle I’ve always kept my weight under control so it has never been addressed because it didn’t look or feel severe. But as I get older it looks worse and worse. As I’m now 50ish I added some Tirz that helped me shed 15 lbs that menopause refused to let go of so I’m back to my comfort weight around 145-150lbs (I’m 6’ tall). Yet my legs and tush refuse to let go of extra lipedema fat and it’s just worse than ever. I’m still active, I cycle/mtb and run. My arms would look too skinny if I lost any more weight! 😢
My question: has anyone found a peptide that seem to help with reduction in stubborn lipedema fat after reaching goal weight?
