Trump signed an order stopping the de minimis rule

My wife works as an RN for a hospital(US). She says they are required to use a filter when drawing from an ample to keep any glass out. Just another data point.
I’m sure it is a best practice for a good reason. For me, by the time you buy the drug, then the filters, extra syringes and vials to transfer, you could have just gone to a clinic and paid for the shot. Everyone has their own risk tolerance and I respect that. Theoretically, any glass particles would either sink to the bottom of the liquid (I never get it all out) or be too large for a 27g - 31g needle, so it’s worth the risk to me.

In my mind, the filter process also adds a lot more touches and potential for contamination.

It's not my field, but they're called "blunt filter needles" and seem to all be 18 gauge ... but then you can swap it out for a high-gauge regular needle
I have watched some videos and read a little. I’m still willing to take my chances. Thank you for the information!

It was over my WhatsApp... from ZLZ... I've not bought from them though I have read a bunch about them.
Good, we are better off without those fraudsters. I won’t let a mention of ZLZ pass by without mentioning that they shipped me and some friends thousands of dollars in bad cagri, said they would replace, strung us along, and ultimately decided to ghost us.

Don’t buy from ZLZ.

Watch a video on how much glass fragments when you break an ampoule open.

Get some filter needles. It's an easy fix to a problem you can't reverse.

nahhh, seriously, prob best to use a filter.

Can you get them in small gauges? This has me intrigued. I’m not seeing anything in the usual places.
Yeah they're high gauge and blunt, it's good for the vial stopper because they're non-coring

Like a regular filter, it works one way only

The filter inside is usually only to filter debris or things like that since it's 5 micron

They've only gone up 8 bucks since I purchased in November.

Filtering is one of those things it's hard to argue against. I don't filter my peps. I'd probably filter SRYLABs gnat-filled peps.

With my glass ampoules, some of them aren't scored very well and I end up grinding a little line on them with a jewelers file..

I wonder if you can feel injected glass...

It's like Taco Bell with their shredded cheese. Even if you could see it, you can't feel/taste it :)
