Excuse my excitement! I've been here for a bit but have not been able to post for some reason, it was killing me!! haha. (Thanks for fixing that, Admin)
Now I can introduce myself and dive in.

I've been on a glp1 journey since December and am down 40 lbs. It's been a slower journey than most because I suffer from psoriatic arthritis and am on 10 mg of prednisone every day (it literally fights against the glp1 even with increased exercise). Was on 20mg of pred. but with the tirzepatide I was able to come down and am weaning off very soon.

Tirzepatide has helped my joint pain immensely but I hit a weight loss stall two months ago and thought I would give Reta a try. I began that transition last week plus added Lip-C and KLOW during the week. Excited to learn more about these and read other people's journey.

Yay! Welcome and I can't wait to hear more about your Lip-C and KLOW journey as I am considering adding those to my stack!

Glad you made it, some new members may not have read the memo at the top of this sub forum, which certainly would be helpful for all to read.

Welcome to the show!

A short excerpt:
New members must make a post introducing yourself. Use this as an opportunity to tell us a little bit about yourself including what brought you here, what you’re hoping to learn and accomplish, any experiences you’ve had with weight loss, diabetes, GLP-1 medications, and similar things. We also expect as part of this introduction post that you express your commitment to the importance of both safety and Harm Reduction as they are vital aspects of everything we discuss here. Obviously you don’t have to share anything you don’t want to, but this first post will help us get to know you a little and start your experience here on a positive note with our warm and welcoming community. (And please, don’t just copy & paste someone else’s post and edit it to make it seem like your own thoughts, or simply go through the motions of posting just so you can gain access to posting in other sections and threads; all that will accomplish is extending the amount of time your posting abilities are limited!).

Hello and welcome!

Unless you started in Dec '23 and accounting for your 2 month stall you're saying you lost 40lbs in 4 months?

I think once you get your feet wet here you'll see how extraordinary that is. You'll also see your Prednisone might be a non issue (because you've lost 40lbs!) and that you're abandoning the Tirz ship prematurely.

Welcome! 40lbs in 6 months is definitely a good progress. Its not slow at all. Great work!

I would agree that 40 lbs since December isn’t slow at all, I’ve lost 50 since August and been called a “super responder” due to the pace. Losing 40 while on prednisone is incredible, steroids are a not fun but necessary evil.
