Welcome to our vibrant community dedicated to discussing all things GLP-1!
As a new member, here are some important policies and rule clarifications to help guide your first posts and make your way around here without running afoul of our few but important rules:
- YOUR FIRST POST MUST BE AN INTRODUCTION POST. Use this as an opportunity to tell us a little bit about yourself including what brought you here, what you’re hoping to learn and accomplish, experiences you’ve had with weight loss, diabetes, GLP-1 medications, and similar things. Obviously you don’t have to share anything you don’t want to, but this first post will help us get to know you a little and start your experience here on a positive note with our warm and welcoming community. (And please, don’t just go through the motions of making a hollow introduction post just so you can gain access to posting in other sections and threads — or worse copy & paste someone else’s post and edit it to make it seem like your own). I realize this may require stepping a bit out of your comfort zone, but I'm confident you'll find it is a great way to "break the ice" and discover what a truly loving and supportive community we are fostering here.
- BEFORE YOU CAN MAKE YOUR INTRODUCTION POST: There is a brief delay — usually no more than an hour — after registration for the database to update permissions before you will be able make your first post. Once completed, you will see an orange "Start New Topic" button in the upper right hand area of the Introduce Yourself section that you may click to make your introduction post.
- NEW MEMBERS ARE SUBJECT TO RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS regarding posts and participation (think of it as a probationary period). These limitations diminish over time with the more posts you make, the more “likes” your posts receive, and the length of time you’ve been a member. How quickly (or slowly) you achieve those thresholds is entirely in your hands. It is critical to understand:
- Your first handful of posts will be limited to the Introduce Yourself section so that we can verify you are not a scammer, spammer, shill, stealth vendor, or someone who has difficulty following our few simple rules or understanding the posting limitations clearly explained in this very post. That you are reading. Right now.
- If we detect or suspect "post whoring" (making a lot of posts to try to overcome new member limitations) you will spend even more time on "probation" with continuing limitations and your posts being reviewed.
- Post count is not the only factor in the user promotion ladder and trying to "beat" the system is not appreciated or tolerated.
- YOUR POSTS WILL BE "MODERATED" — HELD FOR REVIEW — DURING YOUR 'PROBATIONARY' PERIOD, meaning that every post you make will be manually reviewed and approved by myself or one of the dedicated moderators before being published and visible to everyone else.
- IF YOU CAN'T POST ANYWHERE EXCEPT THE Introduce Yourself SECTION, it's by design or for a reason such as trying to ask questions or post info instead of introducing yourself and getting to know other members. Engage your fellow new members, find out more about them and things you might have in common. If you make a post asking "Why can't I post anywhere else?" or message us asking the same question, your posting restrictions will be extended. Be patient, it will happen soon enough!
- PROHIBITED CONTENT: The topics and behavior detailed below are PROHIBITED for new users, and some are prohibited for all users. With more posts, more "likes", and a little time, many of these topics can be freely discussed in the appropriate sections. You are considered a "New" user until you have reached "GLP-1 Apprentice" user status as displayed under your forum name in your profile. Until then, please be patient and take some time to read and learn from the 97,000+ existing posts and the 27,000+ helpful, knowledgeable members of our community. Posts by new members violating our RULES or these policies will not be approved, and violations can result in your probationary period being extended indefinitely or in certain circumstances, being banned.
- NO SOURCE DISCUSSION!!!
- DO NOT MENTION THAT YOU ARE HERE TO FIND SOURCES!
WE. KNOW. THAT'S. WHY. YOU'RE. HERE.
You do not need to tell us. WE KNOW. 🤔
When you arrive at a restaurant do you announce to everyone else there that you've come to eat? Exactly. This is the main violation that results in deleted posts and additional posting restrictions.
- DO NOT MENTION SOURCES THAT YOU LIKE AND/OR HAVE PURCHASED FROM! We don't need to know, and we really don't care. The only exceptions are if you believe that you've been scammed, or if you are sharing information about a serious threat to safety posed by a specific source (such posts are still subject to moderator/admin review; please use the Contact Us form if you believe a situation warrants an exception—especially if you are new and want to report something that you think is an urgent threat to safety or a scam). Your time will come when discussing sources is perfectly fine, however as a new member, now is not that time.
- DO NOT ASK ABOUT SOURCES, EITHER IN GENERAL OR BY NAME! Posts asking "Has anybody heard of?", "Can anyone share their experiences with...?", "Looking for recommendations on where to buy..." or anything remotely similar are prohibited until reaching a minimum of "GLP-1 Apprentice" user status. We are not trying to conceal this information from you! BUT, aside from it being almost guaranteed that it already has been/is being discussed on this forum, these kind of posts from new members are repetitive and tiring, are often the sign of a shill/spammer/scammer, and ultimately just make you come across as entitled.
- POSTS ABOUT RESEARCH CHEMICALS, SOURCES, PRICES, ETC. ARE RESTRICTED TO DESIGNATED FORUM SECTIONS. As mentioned earlier, new members have a variety of restrictions as to what can be posted and where. Research chemical discussions are restricted to specific sections and if you haven't yet earned privileges to post in those sections that means don't post about them. We have a lot of information here about research chemicals if you simply relax and absorb that information until you're able to post in those sections you'll probably find answers to all of your questions. We're not keeping secrets from you; you can read every section of the forum including ones you can't yet post in.
- NO LINK BEGGING/SHARING. If you came here to get links/invites/etc. to supplier sites, super top secret Discords, Telegrams, MySpaces or other places where you think that link or invite is a magical key to all the secrets everyone is hiding from you, prepare to be disappointed. This is currently a zero-tolerance policy for ALL members.
- NO SHILLING. This has been the standing policy of this forum since day one, yet every day there are dozens of people signing up just so they can make posts under the guise of a genuine helpful review recommending whatever vendor is either paying them or offering some kind of incentive like free product, discounts, affiliate income, etc. We've seen it all before and we see right through it now and do not tolerate it. If anything it's a really good way to convince people that such a vendor is not worth doing business with at any price, and with over 27,000 members we don't hesitate to call out shitty vendors here and on countless other platforms.
- FINALLY — AND OF COURSE — FOLLOW THE REST OF THE RULES. There are not that many (but sadly, bad behavior by a tiny group of people keeps creating more or them), and they are pretty simple and straightforward. You can/should view them here if you haven't already: FORUM RULES
We are a very warm and welcoming and community and are eager to promote the sharing of knowledge and experience, but like any new social group it can take a little time for everyone to "warm up" to you so please be patient and use that time to take advantage of the volume of information readily available in 97,000+ existing posts which can be discovered with the help of the Search function.
Again, thank you for joining and welcome! I am genuinely glad you're here! I know all these rules and such can seem unreasonably restrictive, but unfortunately there are countless scammers, spammers, and bots constantly trying to spoil everyone else's enjoyment so we often are forced to adjust new member parameters to avoid that as much as possible.
🥰
