My order was delivered to the wrong apartment :0!

Okay, it's prolly a good idea to get a PO box at this point. FedEx delivered my order to another apartment. When I came home expecting to see the box, it wasn't there. Apon looking at the delivery photo, I realized there were 2 doors shown. My place is a single unit. Searched every stinking double doorway and finally found it.
The label carried the 1 of # 241 to the next line so it looked like #24. Almost expensive and very stressful. 😱 But hey, if I were a step counter, I would have had a great afternoon lol.
 
When I found it. They had a ring doorbell. So I knocked, then rang the doorbell. no answer... so I snapped a pic of my package and ... wait... I didn't snap a pic of my "package", I snapped a picture of the parcel lol and the address in case I show up on next door app as a package thief 😎

Even with a PO box the chances of someone misreading the number, etc. are still not zero. It's often just a crapshoot.
 
Delivering to Apartments is tricky... why not send it to a friends house with your name?

I have thought about that but shot the idea down bcuz of the possibility of men in black paying a visit. Is this reality or paranoia?

One of my peptide orders got delivered to the wrong apartment (and wrong building) by the delivery partner the vendor used. I've honestly never had that happen before with any package because delivering to high rises here is the norm. Had to eat that cost because the vendor claimed it was my fault (???). Thankfully it was just a small order and it's the only time it's ever happened.
