    Lilly acquires three vaccine developers

...Any wagers that Lilly wants these companies not for their vaccine technology against diseases, but rather in response to Amgen’s Maritide which uses vaccine scaffolding to extend the 1/2 life of their glp-1 medication to once per month or perhaps even longer.

...young enough, there is a gene therapy. Also, who knows what the future will hold as far as frequency and even the need to take shots. MariTide is a once a month injectable. Amgen used a monoclonal antibody backbone to extend the half-life. Some of the current pills coming to market might...

...not just Cagrilinitide and Semaglutide. I am also curious about which GLP1 will end up being least harmful for human health long term. It sounds like MariTide, while very effective, resulted in some bone density loss. I'm sure we will see similar issues emerge for other GLP-1s down the line.

    Anyone monitoring Amgen's MariTide?

I’ve been keeping my eye on MariTide last couple of months. I’ll be at goal weight before this hits grey market but looks interesting for long-term maintenance.
  17. Anyone monitoring Amgen's MariTide?

This one is a dual action one, it does GLP1 but blocks GIPR (where tirz stimulates both). It has great weight loss results in phase 2, but the big thing is that they've done something with it to make it last longer and it could be a once a month injection. The GIPR antagonist part is a...
