Maybe an odd thing to want to do - but it’s for a person who cannot take the standard dose due to side effects. By doing this, they can split the dose or just take less than the full dose. The question is if it’s safe. Are the contents of these pens designed to be kept around for multiple uses?

I run a savio pen usually. I was at the end of a cartridge and the pen let me dial in 15 units. Shot that into a syringe and only got 10 units out. Put a new cartridge in and dialed it to the 25 units I still needed and it was spot on accurate. I was surprised how accurate actually. YMMV
