The Hospira bacteriostatic water I received from peptidetest.com last month was identical in all ways (down to the batch code and expiration) to the same product ordered from AMSCO.
Nah. I posted a price breakdown of what I paid for the supplies I am personally using, but I don't sell stuff. Here's what I came up with:
I hope someone reputable ends up offering such a kit, though. I had to buy many of these things in large quantities (25-100) from multiple different...
I am not, by the way, trying to beat up on AmoPure. I am certainly not trying to tell anyone who to buy from or not buy from. I'm providing information from a vendor in response to some recent testing data so that others can use it to make informed choices.
Personally, I will be filtering this...
I doubted this, so I went digging in a testing archive I had access to. Here's what I found:
22 total tests for microbial contamination (what we sometimes call "sterility")
14 fails
8 passes
No supplier had more than one pass
I was not able to find any grey market suppliers that have a proven...
After the 30mg and 60mg tirzepatide from AmoPure (aka L30 and L60) both failed peptidetest.com's USP<71> style sterility testing I reached out to Alan at AmoPure.
He has confirmed that AmoPure currently does no in-house sterility testing and does not guarantee the sterility of their products...
I was a dummy and had been using my “real” discord account for peptide server memberships. That account did get a temp ban. I’m slowly moving all my peptide discords to a dedicated account.
100 mL is nearly half a cup of fluid. It would not fit in any 10 mg vial I am familiar with.
Please use additional care and caution if you continue your research.
I ended up telling over 10 doctors I was talking imported semaglutide during an (unrelated to GLP1s) health emergency a couple months ago and virtually none of them cared. One nurse made a stink about it, everyone else just wrote it down and moved on.
I will continue to not hesitate to tell...
I know their tirzepatide is well regarded, but does anyone have experience with AmoPure’s semaglutide?
Has anyone seen purity testing results for AmoPure semaglutide?
We're talking about possible options for individual testing (at a higher cost) over in the poll thread if you'd like to weigh in: https://glp1forum.com/threads/amopure-testing-poll-amopure-testing-group.873/
Thanks so much for doing the math. Saving a few bucks is always nice, but given what the samples cost (and what we're saving vs compounded or name brand) I am happy to pay a little more to have individual data and more data points to share publicly.
If you do decide to discuss with...
Note that my suggestion above doesn't include sterility testing.
For sterility testing, could we combine all the L60 together from all the vials / all the COAs for one big sterility test? That would add about $25 if the $250 sterility test cost is shared by 10 people.
If we can, the total...
Thanks @Cndmk. If you don't mind, I'll post the suggestion I DMed you here:
It sounds like peptidetest.com charges $300 for the first vial and $100 for each additional vial up to 3 vials maximum. That means a batch of 3 vials on one COA will cost $500 ($300+$100+$100).
$500 divided by three...
I voted for #3 and sent my reasoning and polite suggestion for another possible option to @Cndmk via DM.
I deeply appreciate all the work @Cndmk is putting in to this, don't want to make this any more work for them, and will be happy to arrange my testing individually if my goals and...
I agree a “tell me everything that is in here” test would be useful!
Unfortunately there are many things that would be useful that are not possible with current technology. I am also still waiting on my Rocketeer-style jet pack. 😉
Per the author of the article I linked and Janoshik’s FAQ, there is no single “tell us everything” test.
It is theoretically possible to do hundreds (maybe thousands) of different tests looking for different individual things, but there are so many “things” in the world. Per Janoshik that...
Up to you. I don’t personally feel that the best response to not having all the information is to choose to have even less information. But given the costs involved it is certainly a judgment call.
Here is an excellent article on peptide purity written by the business partner of the founder of peptidetest.com:
https://trustpointeanalytics.com/2024/05/28/on-peptide-purity/
It goes into detail about what these purity numbers mean, and what they do not mean.
Specifically, a 99.575% purity...
Just in case anyone missed it, @Cndmk started up a separate thread for the group testing they’re organizing over here:
'AmoPure Group Tests'
https://glp1forum.com/threads/amopure-group-tests.832/
I would also like to test a vial of AmoPure L60.
For the add-on charge for sterility testing, is it an extra $250 per person? Or $250 split up among all the folks participating?
