yeah fair point on the prices. but was that mostly just mostly the resellers' profit margin getting competed away while the actual manufacturers were running at full capacity, and thus started supplying subpar product - or worse, fake product?
I highly doubt this. The Chinese economy is highly resilient and quick to adapt. China with a population of 1.4 billion people can handle the added demand.

Have you cracked open a vial yet? It usually has this odd “fishy” (for lack of a better word) smell, sometimes “vitamin-y.” It should have a smell is what I’m saying. Also, it’s thicker/more viscous like aminos tend to be.
That smell makes me nauseous every time I open my case. I have to put my Carved and Pegasus in a ziploc baggie because it smells so bad..

My suspicions regarding taste fall on arginine since I noticed it both from Lipo and another amino that contains arginine. Meanwhile did not notice any taste from just carnitine or yet another amino with carnitine but not arginine. Alas, our palates may be different.
Right, the Lipo I'm used to has an immediate effect that I don't find very pleasant, definitely noticeable. I'm not a big fan of Lipo to be honest after 3 or 4 vials and will stick to a different mix.
🤣 So true! I dropped a vial and it shattered. I was worried about the smell never leaving my kitchen. Glutathione stinks too, but it’s a sulfur odor.
