I'm relatively new to the group and have been reading and getting as much information as I can here. A big thank you to those who share their experiences as well as valuable information.

Prior to sharing the following experience I just had, please know that I Googled my concern along with "GLP1 forum" in my search and didn't find this subject mentioned so please don't drag me. Remember we were all "new" once.

So here goes. I made a purchase from a vendor who is in the Vendor Connection area. I made sure to select one who posted test reports. Unfortunately, I made a rookie mistake of verifying the report by Janoshik AFTER making my purchase.

The first image below is what the Vendor posted. The second image is a screenshot of what I saw on Janoshik when I entered the task number - a big fat nothing burger.

I messaged the vendor and she tried to defend herself with multiple excuses from "providing excellent customer service" to sending me multiple screenshots of other test reports - never once responding to my concern of this altered Janoshik test report on the product. Then she blocked me on Whatsapp. Thankfully, it was a small order and I learned a valuable lesson.

My intent has always been to 3rd party test in spite of the cost. I don't think I'll bother with this shipment as the cost to test outweighs the price I paid.

Wondering if anyone here has had the same experience.

Did you enter both the task # and the unique key #? At the very bottom of the page there should be a line with the unique key. Don't see it in your picture. Either way, IMO you cant rely on a COA from the vender. Some COA's don't have a batch number and most china stuff comes unlabeled with no batch number on the kit. If batch numbers are present the vender can just put an old batch number on a new batch. The "wrong key" means either you didn't enter a key at all or the key entered was the wrong key for the task number.

I didn't see a unique key. I'm any case, lesson learned and onwards and upwards. Thanks for your input. It's appreciated.

Interesting. Delta offered a possible reason for the discrepancy. Curious if you entered a key #. Still interesting why the vendor would block you and not answer the question properly.

Are we not allowed to name names here? I'd like to know who this vendor is.

Do you have links to the post(s) that led you believe ZLZ was anything but scammers? They were banned from here quite a while ago.

What does the QR code on the test report lead to? It's too fuzzy in the pic you posted to scan, but even if the key was missing, cut-off, or intentionally removed the QR code is often overlooked as a way to look up the original report.

After 5 minutes of looking I found the COA on Janoshik, with the unique key, and its valid.

I don't and you know why and now I realize why. I NOW notice they aren't listed in VC and any posts related to ZLZ are negative.

I feel like, and have to admit that I am a dumb newb who jumped in blind, felt overwhelmed and neglected to conduct thorough research.

Is there a way to edit my original post to remove the text about finding them in Vendor Connection?

The QR leads to nothing because it's fuzzy on my end as well.

I had a feeling. While not unheard of, it's rare for an altered test report to still include a valid QR code.

IMHO it still doesn't mean that ZLZ is a reputable vendor, and I will stand behind them being banned here and not being a place anyone here should buy from regardless of price.

Even if this was a valid test, there is nothing to identify the batch on the COA. If you bought more than one kit, sending it out for testing might make sense. You could also check some of the testing sites to see if anyone else ordered from this company around the same time, maybe you will get lucky and find a vendor test.
If you stick to established, well known vendors and a popular kit size (like T30) it is often possible to find a group test. Your other option is to order multiple kits and send a couple of vials out to get tested. If you spread the cost over three kits you are only adding about $10 per vial to your costs and then you will be certain you have what you paid for and how to accurately reconstitute/dose each vial.

Wondering why I received the error message? In think better step back and read more posts to educate myself.
You received the error because you have to put in the key # and the task #. I found it on Janoshik not with the numbers, but by just scrolling though all the test results they post and matching the manufacture up with the product & size and date.

Learn something new every day. Thanks for checking that.

Angela, this is a learning journey. Your not dumb, your just learning.
This.

I'm never discouraged by anyone having any issues or missteps along this journey who is putting in the time and effort to learn everything they can to improve their lives and health and especially doing so safely and being a wise consumer.

Comments like yours and Delta's reassure me that I've found a good place here. Thank you.
