I've had a strange occurrence twice in a row with vials of MOTS-C (tested 2x and from highly trusted source). To a 10mg vial of MOTS-C, I added 3 mL Hospira bac water. Did the same thing with the next vial the following week. I am dosing 10mg MOTS-C per week; week 1 I split it into to 5 mg doses, week 2 I decided to do 3x 3.3 mg doses.

Week 1: First dose drawn as 1.5 mL ; second dose (3 days later) planned to be the remaining 1.5mL, but I had a little less than 1mL left when I went to draw it out
Week 2: First dose drawn as 1.0 mL ; second dose (2 days later) planned to be 1.0mL - when I drew out 1.0mL, there was then nothing remaining in the vial

Am I going crazy? I can't imagine that I would have twice in a row "accidentally" only put in 2mL of water, and the vial was nearly topped out with water. I also am sure I did not accidentally draw the wrong dose for the first dose in each vial. Has anyone else had this happen? I microdose all of my other peptides, so it takes me a long time to go through a vial, and I've only fully finished probably 2 other vials, but I haven't noticed the dosage to be far off in those.

Ok apparently it's just me based on the number of views and no responses
Ya'll are probably reading thinking I definitely mixed it wrong :ROFLMAO:
Trialing vial #3 tomorrow!

I was about to suggest that, but i figured that would just be rude :D

Maybe you are taking an extra dose while sleep walking?

I do not think you are necessarily doing anything wrong. I had a similar issue a few months ago. I purchased 3ml syringes off of Amazon that were not totally accurate. I was using those to reconstitute and Easy Touch 1ml syringes for my injections. I performed a test and found the 3ml syringes to me less than what 3 of the 1ml quality syringes were. I do not know what your process is, but that is something I had to tune in.

They weren't these were they? I couldn't find any 3ml at diabetic supply stores so had to go with these.

No. I would need to check my amazon history for the brand, but those are definitely not it. Mine were individually packed and came in quantities of 25 or 50. They were also 23 gauge.

Ouch! FYI - 23 and 27 gauge is quite a bit bigger than you really need. I would look for 31 gauge insulin needles.

I'm actually using my 1ml injection syringes for reconstitution, so if they aren't accurate, they still wouldn't be accurate to the same degree when I pull out the doses. I just reconstituted my third vial, so we'll see what happens with this one! After adding the supposed 3ml, I do have a bit of space left in the vial, so that seems to indicate it's not a full 3 mL ... but again, since i'm measuring doses using the same syringe, it still seems like liquid is disappearing.

Fortunately it's not a huge deal dosage wise, since I'm intending to use the full 10mg each week and it just ends up being 2 doses instead of 3 (which is well within the various recommendations out there for how to dose mots-c).

A bit? 😂

I use 21 and 23 depending on location when pinning oil since I have permanent sweaty and slippery hands. But I would not jab those in my tummy, big ouch
