I’m curious whether anyone else has noticed variations between different batches or brands of bacteriostatic water.
What I’ve observed is that some peptides don’t seem to reconstitute properly with one batch of bac water as they may clump together or refuse to fully dissolve, while other peptides reconstitute perfectly using the exact same bac water. Also another batch of bac works on the peptides that wont break down with batch 1.
I know Hospira is generally considered the gold standard, but here in Australia it’s become very difficult to source as we are a prison island lol.
I’ve checked the pH of both bac water batches and they appear to be the same. My guess is that it could be related to differences in benzyl alcohol concentration, other manufacturing variables, or perhaps even the way the peptides themselves were produced and lyophilized.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you have any insight into what might be causing it?
