Since we talked a bit about that on other threads, I had the idea to make a more complete article about health risks for various body fat percentage adapted for both men and women.

The facts inside this document were extracted using scite.ai, an AI used in academical research to find and extract data off research papers, so it's pretty damn accurate!

I had it rewritten by chatgpt afterward so it's more structured and easier to read while still fact checks.

I noticed once done that I should've told scite to use the most recent research papers since these results aren't the same as technology progress. I can also filter off from research institutes, time stamp, publication types, etc.

Let me know if you want me to run any other researches through it, I already pay for it so why not use it.

Enjoy!

Upvote for transparency that you used AI for this. 👍

Super cool doc, great idea.
Thanks! Scite.ai is not perfect but is the most reliable and reputable in this field. It's the best I can get without having to actually understand or study these.

Good article, but the article doesn't mention the baseline risk of the comorbidities of being overweight. The article states that for various body fat percentages and ages the comorbidities of obesity increase like 2.5 fold for example. The article doesn't tell us what the average baseline risk is as a percentage for the general public. If the normal risk is less than a percentage point a 3 or 4 fold increase would still make some of these comorbidities a relative low risk.
