First pin went fine, no bruising.
Second pin, I felt very minor discomfort and woke up to a bruise.

I am mostly chalking this up to inexperience with administering, but thought to ask here just in case. Could this be an issue with my Reta? It looks perfectly normal and clear. I’m probably overthinking it but just want to play it safe.

TIA

Yeah think I did same this weeks shot, not enjoyable afterwards, bit of a lump and a nice bruise formed now. I’m chalking it down to less fat to jab 🤣

It's happened to me a few times. I'm not as careful as I should be. One time I even managed to inject it under my skin and it looked like I had a big blister for a few. 😁

I had to put the needle in the vial a few times when I was starting out trying to dose correctly. Dulled the needle and damn I gave myself a nasty bruise and it also bleed a lot. Must of hit a capillary with a dull needle. Lesson learned!

Push the syringe in the direct center of the vial. The material in the stopper is thinner there. Makes a huge difference, trust me as I use 31g 8mm syringes.

Appreciate that info, I’m 10weeks in and am still very much just learning.

Using at least 8mm needles helps
