Customs Seizure and Pre ✔️

I recently saw someone mention that if a package gets seized at customs then you could lose your pre check or known traveler number. Has anyone had this happen to them? Shipping to the US.

You really need to f-up lose you pre-check status. Don’t think being on the receiving end of a shipment of peptide would do much. Now if we’re the shipper it might be different story. Now if the shipment was fentanyl or something like that you would more to worry about than losing your pre-check

Are you sure you've got that right? In all my readings (and I've read a lot), I've never heard of Pre-Check or KTN getting revoked over a customs issue.

I did see several reports of people losing Global Entry over a customs issue; was documented both here and on reddit ('tardit). That really is a thing, apparently.

I personally worried that a Top Secret security clearance might be in jeopardy over it, but I've never heard of a specific issue in that regard.

I've read similar stories to what you mention. I wouldn't mess with it myself at all.

I imagine if you have a top secret and send some crypto to China your PM might be wanting to have a word out of the blue. 🤣

This concerns me. For that reason, I order from "US warehouses" or from US resellers who charge a significant markup but still much less than compound or brand name.
