Ok so I know what dose I’m starting with (small 1.25), how to reconstitute, and the logistic of starting… but what should I do to prepare my body? What should I eat or not eat? Do I start the electrolytes today or the day after? What do you do differently on shot day?

I’m also planning on taking it at night, how soon after dinner should I take it?

It's not until day two or three in the tirz week that I get GI symptoms, if I am getting them that week.

I take it at any time of day. When I started with compounded tirz, I was very excited and injected right when I got home.

You can do it whenever you like. It's good to be well hydrated and stay that way. You might not be hungry after taking tirz, but you might not be thirsty, either. Don't forget to drink water. That's very important. If you're not drinking enough or eating enough for that matter, start taking your electrolytes. Fiber is good, too. Whether you eat foods with fiber or take fiber supplements, you'll be good. Protein shakes help. Protein is very important. If you notice you're not eating enough, protein shakes will help you. Start pinning and good luck!

Luckily I mill my own wheat and so fiber is pretty covered. A few days without it and eating commercial products only has me regretting life so definitely don’t want to do that while on the med 😬😅.

I am concerned about getting enough protein but I’m trying to figure that part out. I have sensory issues so it can be tough if it’s not my norm meat, but thats so pricey these days. I’m going to have to find a protein drink I can actually do but I hate the alternative sweeteners (I did lchf years ago and now they make me sick) and chalky taste of what I’ve tried.

I hate to see wheat suffer. So I let others do the dirty work, haha.

Tastewise, I like the chocolate milk by Fairlife the most. For more protein and less sugar, Fairlife chocolate and vanilla protein shakes are good too, but I had to get used to them a little.

That’s really important advice because that has been the weirdest side effect for me: Not really wanting to drink water as much as I used do. So it’s super important to make sure you’re drinking a lot of water, even if you don’t want to. I just carry my water bottle with me wherever I go and fill it often.
