I got overly ambitious before realizing how much time I'm wasting on nothing - So this is what you get 🤣

Better than nothing, but completely useless (it's just a pasted html/javascript, so browser extensions and incognito will probably break it xD

Oh, and I used the GPT scanning the board to make the quotes, I take zero responsibility for accuracy or unintended rudeness - I told it to make it funny 🙂

I chuckled at a few of these. Love it, thanks for the laugh 😀

I can't believe you're advertising it here, LMAO. You're going for maximum drama.
nah not drama at all. please, by all means, take this conversation over there, it is a far more appropriate place to have it. This is a welcome development as far as I’m concerned, so in all seriousness, go get your dio vendor recommendation spreadsheet there and we can drop this tired topic on glp1f.

Further discussion about the merits of this spreadsheet (along with the spreadsheet itself) can be found here: https://qualligator.com/

People misunderstand the main value of Dio's spreadsheet. It isn't in fact about the most positively portrayed vendors at the top. Rather the primary value it had was steering folks AWAY from true scammers.

Hypothetical Contrived Example: Imagine a person who gets here with no background info. In my hypothetical, for easy numbers pretend there's 20 active vendors. 5 are "try to steal your card info or crypto scammers", 5 are "steal your money scammers", "3 are subpar fills or purity vendors", 7 are different degrees of good (anything from best vendor ever to amopure situation where most folks are happy but some are burned). The person who just arrives here doesn't know what's up. They'd have to read many many threads scouring here and other locations to actually learn about all of them. They probably don't realize the risks and aren't really on their guard. So in my silly hypothetical without his spreadsheet they have a 10/20 chance of a very bad experience and a 3/20 chance of a mediocre experience. Dio's sheet cuts most of those away. So maybe now they only bother considering 8 out of 20 of the vendors and their worst case scenario is a slight underfill or the amopure situation, a massive upgrade.

The numbers are probably much messier than 20 vendors, but I argue the picture I portray is reasonably representative of the noobie experience.
Why can't we organize a poll that experienced members can vote for the most reputable vendors, including the goods and bads for each?

There isn't really any reason why we can't.

But, if I am going to be completely fair - Zippy owns this forum, and if I understand his intention correctly he wants an open discussion forum that doesn't really have any static or official sources.

Which may or may not force people to do their own research (I should be careful not putting words in Zippys mouth here, and I want to express that this is simply my understanding).

So at the end of the day, it does make sense to respect his original intention (Assuming I'm not completely off target with my assumptions).

There are always other channels.

Just my 2 unsolicited cents

Sounds like a great way to look at things.

This is far, I guess I'm trying to find a solution, but I don't think there's one, or one that the majority agree to

I thought he removed it because people where sharing it else where, I saw it pop up in a FB group the other day and asked the girl to remove it, even thought you couldn't see anything because it was small and blurry...

You will probably hear around 5-20 different stories if you ask around 🙂

At this point there is already a conclusion of some sort and beating a dead horse will only affect the board negatively imo 🙂

Let's discuss Ely Lilys mission to protect American consumers or something instead

Oh I don’t know about any of that, I thought you were talking about the new forum which would be the best place to seek it out. At this point further discussion about it here doesn’t really make sense since you can go straight to the source who has the capacity to host it if they wish.

Yeah I posted about that and no one is talking about it.

You don't need a spreadsheet. Cultivate a network- aka relationships. Ask questions of someone whose vibe you like, who has been around longer than six months. Ideally, a few someones. Eventually you just take the plunge or go back to compound.

A spreadsheet- like a group buy guarantee- is a security blanket, an article of faith, because there are no guarantees and the only expert looks back at you from the mirror.

Ok, it’s been a fun one but in the interest of trying to pull the forum back into normalcy I’m going to lock this thread now, and probably the other heavy drama threads a little later.

If you have questions about Dionysus’s spreadsheet you can ask them on his forum, as that’s much more appropriate than carrying on about the topic here.

For the record neither myself nor any mod ever told Dionysos that he couldn't post/link his list on this forum.

As best as I can tell, his feelings were hurt after I mentioned in another post that folks shouldn't rely on any "list" as authoritative or reliable and should perform their own due diligence regarding any supplier or vendor. I can't take responsibility for other people's feelings, but I apologize for any feelings I may have hurt because as anyone can tell by everything I do here my ultimate desire is to foster an environment where people can educate themselves and each other, as well as give everyone the ability to recognize how to avoid dangerous situations whether it be unsafe products or dishonest vendors and while I often take a "tough love" approach to many of the things I post, I would never intentionally try to hurt someone's feelings.

There have been dozens if not hundreds of "lists" created by seemingly well-meaning people over the past several years, and unfortunately there is a discernable pattern of flaws with the vast majority of them. Whether they are flawed by including known scammers/dishonest sellers who provide bogus or altered test results, bad or questionable product (often with a "positive" rating or recommendation), or because the author(s) lack the knowledge and experience to be able to recognize problematic vendors with a negative or questionable history, or - sadly - because some lists are assembled by people with a financial interest or other incentive (free/discounted products, affiliate bonuses, etc.), it's simply best to embrace the reality that you can never trust a list to do your work for you.

(To see a perfect example of an intentionally dishonest list, take a look at the one posted in the photo HERE and you'll see the mention of "Royal Peptides". What conveniently is NOT mentioned is that "Royal" is just another in a string of re-brands cooked up by the owner of Cantides, who is currently on something like name revision 7.2 to run from their bad reputation. Her Royal Dishonestness created a "list" under the guise of an alt ("alternate identity") to appear as if they were a kind and generous person simply trying to be helpful with their list when clearly the ulterior motive was to steer unsuspecting victims towards this weeks' new brand in order to rip them off with untested kits that she openly buys from random internet strangers to fill orders.)

To be clear: I am not saying that Dionysos' list is/was any of these things, but after two different vendors messaged me inquiring how they could be added to the list it became quite evident that it was important to raise awareness that it's best to view any lists with a significant dose of healthy skepticism since there's no way to know the true motivations of the creator(s).

Even if a list is free from all financial or self-interest, it will still be flawed since there is no way to account for every single vendor or every single customer experience - never mind the experience or lack thereof of the author(s) - and at best only serve as one of many tools in the toolbox of proper vendor/supplier vetting.

Self-injecting mystery powder is serious business, and people need to take a step back and think long and hard about what they're doing and who they're trusting when embarking on this journey. Relying on the advice/opinion of any one person or resource (including ME) to make those kind of decisions is foolish and dangerous! Stay safe out there, be smart, take things slowly, and do your own testing or get involved with crowdfunded testing!
