Iv’e seen some discussions the last few days bringing doubt to some vendors ethics and morals - and how important that is.

On that note, I’d suggest that all vendors listing DNP in their portfolio should either remove it - or be considered unethical immoral and not trustable.

It’s a banned substance which is classified as a poison - it has no place under “weight loss supplement” on a price list.

If a vendor is perfectly fine with selling you literal poison meant for you to consume, what else do they consider morally and ethically ok?

I get that it’s not really cool of me to phrase it like this. But the stuff is poison, I’d put it right up there with drugs. So why allow poison when drugs are not allowed?

I think its because it used to be a big thing in Europe some time ago (and caused some deaths there) not sure if its still popular anywhere these days.

Nah, it’s very rarely used at all these days.

I just have a problem with poison being sold as a consumable to people trying to lose weight.

If it doesn’t sell anyway, what’s the harm in taking it off the price list.

I'd read somewhere that DNP was used in WWII to help keep concentration camp prisoners warm.

But the reason it's banned is because it kills people.

Lots of things on those price lists will kill people, the dose makes the poison. Problem with DNP is the fine line between typical thermogenic dose and “hospitalized receiving a cold water enema while you cook from the inside” dose is easy to breach.

No, the fine line is the classification. As a poison and a banned substance

Who is "classifying" it as a poison? Botox (botulism!) is one of the deadest poisons, is it on your poison list? Should it be?

My poison list? You really do like making things personal don’t you?

While both are poisons, DNP has no approved medical use. While Botox does:

Botox is not considered a poison when used as an FDA-approved injectable treatment

i better hurry up and get my DNP. before Ralph Nader gets it banned.

just busing your balls. gotta have a sense of humor.
Hahaha, let’s just say I have a personal problem with DNP being pushed as a supplement 😉

I'm just probing to figure out the logic here. DNP is indeed dangerous, but so is a ton of stuff on these lists. You've made a distinction between it and everything else by calling it "poison," it's not out of line to try to understand that distinction. If FDA approval is the benchmark, which is what you seem to get at here, then you need to remove retatrutide from your website.

DNP banned for human consumption but OK for fertilizer, pesticide, and wood preservative use.

I suppose H2O or the Sun could be a poison if you consumed too much.

I suppose the obvious loophole is the big asterisk at the bottom *not for human consumption. What bothers me is that this asterisk is pretty obviously sold and ignored by both sides of the transaction. So while including it probably helps. If the marketing on your page talks about weight loss... or even your URL. I'm sure some lawyer somewhere will find a way to nail you to the cross.

The distinction I tried to point out is that there is a clear medical use. (Poisoning yourself half to death and coloring your organs yellow to lose some fat doesn’t seem very medical to me). While also running the risk of having your loved one watch your brain get cooked if you fuck up your dosage.

Your comparison is pure sophistry. Sloppy dosing of Reta might make you feel a bit under the weather. Sloppy dosing of DNP boils your brain and kills you.

Botox is far from harmless. But it at least has some use and isn’t outright banned. That said, I don’t think that would be a suitable product to list in this board either? Most users come here for glp-1s and some other rather harmless peptides.

I believe a lot of users consider this forum a safe space, and trust its integrity. That automatically rubs off and extends to the vendors. So with no real disclaimers in place anywhere, I do feel that either the board or the vendors should take some responsibility and either add disclaimers or limit the outright harmful products from showing up on their public price lists.

Or maybe add a tiny: nb- if you order X to country Y, the cops might come search your apartment, so don’t leave a lot of sketchy stuff lying around.

Not to mention the amount of trouble you could get into by ordering a banned substance if it’s stoped in customs. Some bad luck and you might even see some jail time for ordering DNP to the US.

I’m all for an open market, and people to do whatever they want with their body.

We definitely have products in our portfolio that can be considered quite harmful too. But I feel like there is a time and place for everything.

You wouldn’t sell sex toys in a toy store for children… So why sell poison on a Glp-1forum?

Or maybe the name of the forum isn’t accurate anyomre? 🤷‍♂️

In summary to my long post:

How many of the dangerous things on these lists, are you likely to die from overdosing one time? And how much of an overdose would you need?

My issue with dnp is that carelessness is enough to off yourself, especially in combination with a miss-dosed product.

If that makes more sense 🤷‍♂️

"A dust explosion is possible with DNP in powder or granular form in the presence of air. DNP may explosively decompose when submitted to shock, friction or concussion, and may explode upon heating."

good luck shipping it during extreme hot summers by air!

I think they ship it wet for this reason. I never used the stuff but many moons ago when I was a fat teenager I did consider it enough to look into this issue.

Same here.

Although I stuck with ECA for fat loss. Also considered "gear" as we called it back then. Never did it though...

Then that out of shape pro baseball player died in Florida heat on ECA and it was banned for sale.

Maybe the angle @Bacchus might consider is if having it advertised for sale in vendor signatures puts the forum at risk The fast expansion of this entire subculture of overseas peptides makes me think some correction would be forthcoming from either the gov or big pharma.

If DNP advertised in signatures puts the forum at some risk, then perhaps it's worth considering some action.
