Lovely New England
I'll start!

A couple of years ago, my friends gave me (us?) a subscription to a cocktail-making club, Shaker & Spoon. Each kit has 3 recipes from award-winning bartenders with all the syrups, bitters, mixers, and some garnishes to make 4 drinks of each of the 3 recipes around one type of liquor (liquor not included). We've had a blast getting together and crafting cocktails and making good food to complement them. As I have a tendency to go... ahem... all in, I have become somewhat of an amateur mixologist.

I am pleased that my level of tirz has not diminished my ability to enjoy a cocktail now and then, though I have seriously cut down on consumption due to the calories. I guess Make It a Double sounds like a could have a problem, I was just looking for a fun name involving cocktails.

Dionysos is the Greek god who is the origin of my name: Dennis.

Far from being a menace, dionysos translates to “god in man” which seems kinda appropriate for me, don’t you think 😬😬😬
Well damn...a quick Google presented some illuminating info: (editted for my attempt at humor)

In ancient Greek religion and myth, Dionysos is the god of wine-making, festivity, insanity, and ritual madness.

He was also known as Bacchus by the Greeks. Wait...what??? Are you and @Bacchus brothers from another mother? 🤣

As Dionysos Eleutherius ("the liberator"), his wine, music, and ecstatic dance free his followers from self-conscious fear and care. His sceptre is both a beneficent wand and a weapon used to destroy those who oppose his cult. Those who partake of his mysteries are believed to become possessed and empowered by the god himself.

Appropriate indeed. 😊😘

Growing up our family had an all-white odd eye (one blue, one gold) cat. The cat chose me as her person and only would let me pick her up, so she was my cat. From the time we got her as a kitten, the first thing she would do when outside is roll around in dirt.

Due to her fur color and the dirt she looked like dusty cotton. So that's what we named her. I had that cat from when I was 5 years old until age 21. Very aloof, even with me, her supposed favorite. I still really miss her though.

i ate too many raw oysters and got a kidney stone. I had joined redditt to discuss kidney stones and decided on that as a user name and just kept using it.
For many years I would rent a cottage with friends in Wellfleet in September. I would come home with 100 raw oysters carefully wrapped in newspaper in a cooler from Hatch's. They would keep for months and several friends would happily help consume them. Always pick Wellfleet oysters if I have a choice.

Ok you're all going to have to be able to look WAY outside the box to follow this. 😜
I wanted to find alternative to the Brand Name Zepbound PEPtide that I could no longer afford.
I grew up in and currently live in OHIO.
So.............being the ORIGINAL outside the box thinker I am I smashed them together in PepOhio.

I-O
Dammit you know it's impossible for me not to complete that!!! 😂
Live off of I-75 about an hour north of Dayton.
Go Buckeyes! One of the ten best teams in the country...if you take ALL of the SEC teams out of the rankings...😜
Surprised you don’t like Ann Arbor being that close to UM. “Hail to the Victors!”

I grew up on the other side of the lake in PA. Miss the winters, fishing, and the smell of the water.

Close... and well intended I'm sure @MakeItaDouble.

Dionysos embodies the spirit of Irrepressible Life within us all. The Green Man, the Spirit of the Wood worshipped by the Druids, these were manifestations of Dionysos - God In Man you see.

@Bacchus is the degenerate Roman wannabe version of the spiritually superior Greek original.

Pretty much everything negative attributed to Dionysos was actually originated by the low-brow Romans... err... Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Notorious orgies, bacchanalia were banned throughout Italy in 186 BC according to Livy.
