Hi everyone, happy to be here!
I’m a 25–30 year old from France, and although I don’t have any specific professional or medical background related to GLP-1s, I wanted to join this forum to better educate myself.
I first heard about retatrutide on TikTok — someone in France was talking about it, and it opened my eyes to the fact that using this kind of medical support isn’t necessarily “cheating” or extreme, but can actually make sense and be a legitimate tool for some people. Before that, I had always seen GLP-1 medications like Ozempic as something only celebrities used, which made me skeptical. But over time, I realized that regular people like me might benefit from them too.
I’ve been struggling with my weight for a while now. I gained about 15kg of fat during the Covid years, and I’ve been stuck with it since. My current body fat percentage is around 27%, which is beginning to worry me. I’ve started exercising more and being more mindful of my eating habits, but my self-esteem has taken a hit, and I feel like I need some extra help. That’s what brought me here: I want to learn as much as possible, be smart about my choices, and take care of myself responsibly.
Most importantly, I fully believe that safety and harm reduction should be the foundation of any discussion around GLP-1 medications. I’m not here to take risks or shortcuts — I’m here to understand things properly, from trustworthy and informed people. I know there’s a lot of misleading information out there, especially on TikTok or Reddit, and that’s why I’m grateful for a space like this.
Looking forward to reading and learning from everyone here, and thanks for welcoming new members so openly!
