Hi everyone.
I knew nothing about tirzepatide when I started. I had lost 17 lbs on WW, but stalled for two months. I went to see my PCP, and she said, "try this. I think you'll do really well on it. " So she sent a prescription to a local compounding pharmacy. I don't get any coverage for weight loss drugs because I'm on Medicare.
It worked. I've lost another 24 lbs. I trust my local pharmacy as they are accredited by the state, but I'm sure I'm overpaying. So I'm reading all I can.
I understand that I'm getting another substance with my tirz. I have no problem with that. I just think I'm overpaying going local. So I will now sit my mouth and pay attention.
