Visting here from Seattle, WA. About a year ago, I spent several months trying to get into a Retatrutide study. But, alas my kidneys were not sick enough to be able to join. Thank goodness actually.... who wants to have sick kidneys? And, because I don't have Diabetes they just don't have any room around here for me in there GLP studies. So, I took it upon myself and dipped into the grey semaglutide research stuff. I took different amounts weekly for approx. 8 months. I lost 30 lbs at the beginning, and reached the max dose, stayed there for awhile and never lost anymore.... BMI is still morbidly obese. So, I stopped taking sema and still maintained my weight for awhile.... then all of a sudden 10 pounds came back on quite suddenly.
Tried again to get into another Retatrutide study, and found myself number 42 on a wait list, and was told they will never get to my number.... the bascially everyone that is in the study here at the current location would have to drop out before they would call me.... so, I bought some research Retatrutide and started taking it weekly a few weeks back. While I have stopped gaining again, I have not lost anymore, but so far I am on a low dose trying to slowly get to one that might work.
I found this group, and am so excited for the help, and support. My most important takeaways recently:
1. I have only used single vial us vendors. Didn't even realize that there was another way to go. Wow, and I thought I was saving so much money not buying wegovy perscription through pharmacy that my insurance won't cover.
2. The BAC water that I have been using through Amazon, yeah, maybe I need to find a source of Hospira.
