I'm Jenn aka pissyrabbit. It's my old blogging handle and it's been good to me for multiple decades now

I was a healthy weight most of my life and as an adult I would almost say I was an athlete. When I hit 40 I had a really bad break in my foot which required surgery, 2 months of crutches and no running for a long while (the story of how that break happened is pretty hilarious though)
I was running about 2 miles a day at the point where I broke my foot but continued to eat as if I was still running. Gained some pounds but still not terrible.
I went back to running after that healing process but noticed that even though I felt better the extra weight really wasn't coming off.
Then IVF came along.
The meds for IVF are brutal on your body and I did 7 rounds. Progesterone SUUUUUUCKS. I could almost watch myself getting heavier and heavier and since I'd had a few miscarriages I was really worried about doing too much running or lifting.
My daughter was born in 2013 and I was battling some PPD so even though I was trying to get back to working out I was really struggling with making it happen.
I was 132lbs on my 39th birthday and topped out at 232 lbs this time last year.
Early in 2022 a good friend of mine started oz through her Dr and by the late summer she was a completely healthy weight. I was stunned. So I asked my GP for it and she was thrilled to prescribe it for me. I got kicked off in March like so many other people and went the compounding route for 2 months while researching peptides. After reading Red voraciously for a few months and spending a stupid amount of time trying to understand the dose/reconstitution math I took the plunge with an order from Arctic and I never looked back.
I'm now at 175 and slowly getting rid of the remaining 30-35lbs with sema. I'm incredibly grateful for this medication and the generosity this community has shown with their knowledge and willingness to help folks.
