Is there a primer to figure this stuff out? Been lurking but still confused.

Now that you can log in I saved the homepage as a shortcut on my android screen. The homepage shows updates on threads you are interested in and as long as you're logged in it'll usually remember where you left off in a thread or you can "jump to latest". Great resources here including @dionysos vendor lists (my opinion).
