Let's start with admitting what I did...

Someone discarded two months' worth of Tirzepatide in the trash room of my building. It was there, bagged, sad, damp, lying next to the toppled cooling box and scattered syringes.

It crossed my path at a time when I was struggling with my ever-rising weight and infinite appetite. I decided Tirzy (that's its nickname) deserved a future better aligned with its purpose. I cancelled my trip to the coffee shop, leaned into the dumpster, and carefully picked it up. Direction: the top shelf of my fridge, after the mandatory disinfecting 70% alcohol shower, of course.

It took a week and a lot of googling/copiloting to come to peace with my choices.

But today, Tirzy and I have been blending along smoothly for over a month. I finally understand how my naturally skinny girlfriend can so indecisively stare at a restaurant menu. I stop panicking when my fridge contains less than a day's worth of food supply. I've lost 5 lbs... Life is great!

BUT I'm going to run out of magic, and the world around surely knows how to put a shocking sticker price on magic.

So here I am! Hi everyone!

I completely understand the desperation. My mother and my husband are both taking ozempic for their diabetes and when my mother started losing weight I got so jealous. I was having thoughts of just giving her half doses and taking half for myself. Then I would get totally sickened by that thought. I would also think that I could take half from my husband .. he would just give it to me if I asked. That really wasn't good either. They both need it for their diabetes and I absolutely didn't want to risk their lives just so I could lose weight. Then .. I remembered I had an old health savings account and used it to buy a few months of wegovy. At $500 a month though .. I would only be able to afford 6 months total. This led me to thinking about compounded versions. But those are STILL expensive and by the time I researched that path the FDA was already making noise that they would end it soon anyway. What's a girl to do? So I just started reading other people's stories of how they were getting access to it. Then I stumbled across a magical word. A word that I put into the youtube search bar. "peptide." That eventually led me here. After a couple of days of obsessively reading I decided to make a $200 purchase that got me a 2 year supply. TWO YEARS at less than half of what I paid for a 4 week supply. I don't even think that was the cheapest I could get .. but I don't even care.

Reading your story at first I was thinking omg thats crazy. If I really think about it though I would have done the same back before I started this journey. Heck, I probably would have right at the beginning as well. My first order was from Skye, ouch.
