I Just Joined!
Okie dokie. Well, first off, sorry for the username. I made it out of frustration from the 3-day rabbit hole I've just been down, before I read all the new member guidelines and realized that probably describes everyone here. And, I haven't really participated in forums since back in my bbs days haha. Man, I'm old. Anywho, been struggling with weight since 6th grade when society taught me that's what I should be doing, even though I wasn't overweight....which eventually lead to actually being overweight, then goal weight, then obese, and back and forth as one does, because you get super motivated and lose the weight, but whatever hormone imbalance you now have makes it impossible to keep off. Enter compounded semaglutide, and I finally get how "normal" people must feel, not thinking about food all the time and stopping eating when they are full. But, having obtained the med online, I really didn't get much personalized care. I would just get canned responses when I asked the doctor a question. So, really I'm here to learn as much as I can about glp-1s and maybe decide whether to "upgrade" to tirzepatide, so I can continue this journey as safely and free of harm as I can.
