I'm a tech junkie and look for ways to make life easier and my current and past roles I've utilized good and not so good programs tracking inventory with auto notifications when stock is low and other good features. Im about to make another order of peptides and im currently tracking what I have in my stash by just visual reference. Does anyone have a good app or excel product that they would like to share? I could build something from scratch but I know there are some of you out there that are creative and clever when it comes to stuff like this. show me what you got!

affordable subscription if you end up liking it. My only gripe is that you can’t easily historically store orders/pricing/recon data for a peptide. So, if I bought a case of KPV 6 months ago, then another one now, I’d have to overwrite those fields.

They DID add a vial usage tracker portion to show you your totals, and auto remove from inventory. I like that. They’ve been adding more predictive things like ordering reminders and other things like use by reminders and estimated BAC water supply based on usage patterns, and where your inventory values are.

No, I have 0 stake in this app, other than using it for 3 months now.

This sounds like the right track! I like the idea of ordering reminders and you can see the last time you purchased what peptide. I would also like to be able to add batch numbers for reference and recall if the needs arises. Thanks for the suggestion!

That’s why I like my spreadsheet, what’s on hand, where it came from, batch numbers, lab results, what’s coming, what I paid, when I got it, total weights and duration calculations, where it is, etc…. Plus what’s coming and the relevant information about it. I need more help keeping track of what I’m waiting to come in vs not running out of something.
 
I myself use a couple spreadsheets with a bunch of the stuff @woundcarping mentioned. I don't put the price in. I do list what's ordered, and who I buying in from. Most of these are GB. 3 of these are mid April orders, but the GB ended first of may. I guess one shipped to the vendor, and going for testing. Won't be much longer for that one. Actually, appears they're all making headway.
 
I use a spreadsheet to track, what, when, where purchased and where stored, quantity, unit, landed cost, testing cost, CoA link, cap color.... I think that's it. I'd like to build an app. Haven't gotten around to it.

I can only advise you on what I told my organizational engineering students (Ackoff-style organization, not Kondo-style organization).

As long as you can manage inventory visually, that's the best thing to do; otherwise, you'll waste time feeding the machine and correcting errors.

An old way of managing pharmacy stock was to attach small cardboard to certain boxes. When these boxes were purchased, the salesperson would remove the cardboard and send it to the order manager.

This is the Kanban method (yes, the same Kanban used in Trello and other task management tools).

The trick is to place the cardboard on the box/vial that corresponds to the time you have to place your order, not always on the last vial.

For example, you know that your supplier usually delivers within 10-12 days. If you use one vial per week, you should place the label on the second-to-last vial. (If necessary, number them.)

Another "simple" method was invented in the days of the Wild West pioneers to restock hardware stores. That’s what we call planning. It involves keeping a timetable, noting how long the stock of each product will last, setting a deadline for placing a reorder, and estimating the quantity to order to last until the next order. It's quicker to do than to explain 🙂
 
I take 2 pics of each of my cases: 1) closed with the case number displayed, and then 2) open with one vial of each different pep label visible along with the rest of the vials in their padded slots.

Then I use a Word doc to track which peps are in each case (pep name, batch number, ordered mg, COA mg, and how many vials). EDIT: also batch "date", but mine are all from Nexaph, so the batches technically are the date lol

That's it.
 
My whole world has always revolved around Excel...If I have something important to keep/store, it goes on a spreadsheet...the 'peptide hobby' is no different. I have a dosing sheet/page, injection page, ordering page...The ordering page looks like one of those crime solving bulletin boards you see in the movies with paper scraps, pictures, strings criss crossings all over it connecting the dots. I think I have like 6 or 8 orders incoming right now. I had one come in Tuesday, 2 will come in today, 1 tomorrow, and probably 4-5 in next week...All the 'orange' Excel boxes will turn to 'green' boxes as the order gets logged in...When that all settles down, I will build it back up into an inventory sheet with long term freezer storage and the easy access inventory that will live in the refrigerator crisper... 😎 👍
 
I use the GLP1 Plotter spreadsheet (same one GoodKitty mentioned but the Excel version instead of Google Sheets). I’ve tweaked it a bit to add remaining inventory #vials and mg columns on the purchases tab.

I also made another spreadsheet with some Visual Basic scripts to generate a Gantt chart for usage so I can clearly see overlapping cycle stacks (and color coded by vendor just in case I ever find that interesting).

Most of the apps have terrible privacy policies.
 
I track everything using an eInk ReMarkable tablet. My tracking includes purchases, inventory tracking, test results, protocols, reconstitution calculations, and more. If I wasn’t using the remarkable, I’d probably go with Notion or OneNote. I want to be able to access the information across devices.

I agree with you about privacy. I have switched to proton (mobile, cloud, and desktop with VPN and Swiss privacy laws) and LibreOffice (open source for desktop).
 
I use the pep-pedia app. It has a stock tracking feature, keeps track of the protocols im running, dosage schedule, injection sites, activity/ health log linked from apple watch... Just an all in one app. I love it
