I Just Joined!
Hey, introducing myself.
I've been looking to find a community of like-minded (actual people) to learn from and share experiences with.
I've spent most of my life overweight. A few years ago went on a big beach trip and I used it as motivation to lose a bunch of fat. I lost a lot, but didn't hit my goal, but still felt good, but it was really really hard mentally and very frustrating. So, after the trip, the stress of the fat loss journey actually killed my motivation. I didn't want to keep trying and failing, and all the while I'm constantly hungry and craving junk food, etc. Gained a bunch of weight back.
Then my friend introduced me to a clinic that prescribed semaglutide and tirz. It was super expensive, but a game changer because it took a lot of the mental load off of the fat loss experience. That clinic was super expensive, so I found a cheaper way and spent another year or so on Tirz and Cagrilintide on my own. I'm interested in continuing on Tirz and curious to try out Retatrutide. Im still overweight, but Tirz has really helped me maintain weight at least.
Anyway, glad to be here.
