Like the topic says I’m going off this drug. I’m so tired of a stomach that won’t stop having spasms, unbelievable gastric issues, and being too tired to exercise. I’ll just rawdog a keto-like diet plan to achieve my goals.

I just finished my fourth week at 1mg. So I’m thinking three weeks at .5 and three weeks at .25 to quit. Does anyone see a problem with my plan? Could I just do two weeks at each dosage?

Any and all advice appreciated. Thanks!

There are not typically withdrawal issues, from what I have read. When I delay injecting tirz for two days, I don't experience anything except more hunger or food noise.

But, of course, being on a lower dose could help if the side effects go down. The side effects are dose-dependent.

From what I’ve read, stopping completely feels like shit. But maybe that’s if you’ve been on it a lot longer than the 12 weeks I have?
It sounds like the current sides feel like shit, so stopping immediately would make you feel much better, faster. The only reason to taper would be to more gently ease yourself back into the world of hunger and food noise. There is no chemical dependency (and withdrawals are not a thing), from what I've read, with glp1s.

If you do decide later to try sema again or switch to tirz or reta, I would consider getting some more OTCs or some Rx meds (like from your doc or telehealth) to help with symptoms.

Marijuana gummies, gabapentin, and even Tylenol seem to help me as well when stomach symptoms are painful.

I'd also just consider lowering your dose. You followed the official schedule, but a lot of people feel like crap going that fast. I didn't even start at .25, I did half the starting dose for a while and went up slowly. I started in October, I'm up to .75 now. 12 weeks in at 1 sounds miserable.

You could just take a break and try reta or tirz. I didn't have a good time on sema either and didn't lose weight. Each of these drugs is very different.
