Hey there! I’m new here and super excited to be part of a space that values responsibility, research, and real conversations. I’ve spent the last couple years feeling like I was stuck in a healthcare hamster wheel—getting billed for appointments where no one actually listens. So now I’m flipping the script and investing in my own understanding. Not all doctors are bad, of course—but when you’ve seen enough red flags, you start learning to sew your own cape.
I’m a Texas girl with a North Carolina twist—spent 15 years out there soaking up the slow pace before bouncing back to my roots in Texas. I work full-time in security and just went back to school for my bachelor’s because I believe learning never stops (and maybe because I lowkey love a challenge). Looking forward to diving in and connecting with folks along the way—whether we talk often or im just reading and learning. I feel very greatful to have found this forum and some like minded people.
