They offer favorable test reports to convince you of the quality of their products. Maybe they still accept card, PayPal, or even Alibaba payment. Maybe they claim to have a domestic warehouse and can fill your order quickly.
But you've searched and searched and can't find any mention of them here or anywhere.

They are an existing vendor who has created a new identity; either as a way to diversify their presence and market share or more frequently to overcome/obfuscate an unfavorable reputation. 3. It's a scam.

Buying from any vendor carries risks. It doesn't matter if nobody has ever mentioned them, or if everybody is mentioning them. Ultimately, you need to decide for yourself what degree of risk you are comfortable taking.
