You think you've found "the one"; the vendor that has what you're looking for at a good price. The sales rep is quick to respond and seems nice (even calls you dear or similar endearing term). They offer favorable test reports to convince you of the quality of their products. Maybe they still accept card, PayPal, or even Alibaba payment. Maybe they claim to have a domestic warehouse and can fill your order quickly.

But you've searched and searched and can't find any mention of them here or anywhere.

You already know the answer, but you have to ask anyway... Has anyone heard of them? Has anyone bought from them?

There are generally three possibilities: 1. They are a new vendor and simply haven't been around long enough to establish a reputation (good, bad, or indifferent). 2. They are an existing vendor who has created a new identity; either as a way to diversify their presence and market share or more frequently to overcome/obfuscate an unfavorable reputation. 3. It's a scam.

You're seeking some degree of reassurance before ordering. Bottom line: there is none.

Buying from any vendor carries risks. It doesn't matter if nobody has ever mentioned them, or if everybody is mentioning them. Ultimately, you need to decide for yourself what degree of risk you are comfortable taking.

So, go ahead and ask; just don't be disappointed if nobody responds with the information or reassurance you're seeking.

There are countless vendors discussed here (and everywhere else) regularly, and there's usually little mystery as to their reputation. For many just starting out, it's often far easier to purchase from a well-known and well-discussed vendor than to venture out into trying to find "the next" vendor who might become popular.

And finally, no matter what you may think, it's never a "gatekeeping" situation where people are intentionally not talking about a vendor to "protect" their source. If there's one thing you can count on in this space, it's that people are not shy about sharing information that can benefit everyone who is on a GLP-1 journey, so any attempt to "gatekeep" usually doesn't last long.
