Problem being that for personal use amount of peptides folks order, paying a ~$300 per vial per test is not viable.

I read people run group buy discord/fb groups to solve the problem and lower the costs. I wonder what are the logistics of such group purchases?

Is it like that one person gets all the money, buys all the stuff, sends it for test, and then hopefully ships to the group members? Are there membership fees?

Also, if you know reliable ones working in EU or US, I would appreciate & could use referrals.

That’s pretty much the only way I buy. I have purchased direct from vendors that had third party testing done afterwards. But yes, usually a person organizes everything. No membership required. But there always could be risks involved. Have decide on your own level of trust.

1. If you want 2nd and 3rd party tested peptides buy from PGB, but they have a fairly limited catalog.
2. If you want tested peptides order from CN and send for testing yourself. If spread over 2-3 kits, its not too expensive
3. If you choose to go the group buy route make sure you follow the person leading the buy. How has their past performance been? How is testing handled, third party (meaning product ships to organizer, then to users and users donate vials for testing) which is best, second party - GB organizer sends for testing, no testing included (I have seen this often for low-cost peps). What is the reship policy on mass/purity?

Group buys are good but in my experience they can take months to complete.

You can (1) do a GB where the vials are randomly selected and testing and shipping to Jano/PT is included in the cost of the GB purchase, (2) can work with a group of people who all buy the same batch from a vendor, and work between yourselves to randomly select vials, send them in, and split the cost, or (3) do a pre-buy where the vendor sends in vials to Jano [test #1] and those who purchased from the pre-buy coordinate a random selection of received vials to be sent directly to Jano or PT [test #2] and the vendor pays for the test (best of both worlds in that it’s random yet you don’t pay for it (I think only Nexaph does this?)

I've done all three ways. I've never paid $300 to test one vial myself; it's always been split via one of the above methods. I prefer the Nexaph way because it's double-tested, so you verify the vendor test by the group test, and it's a lot faster than any GB.

Yup, this. Vials for a GB that was made in late October and received just before Thanksgiving are just now on their way in for testing. It'll be like mid-January before it's complete. I don't think I have the patience to do that again.
