I'm from Atlanta and I'm 44 years old. I have been actively monitoring my weight for some time now.
My best friends work in academic science, and I am an avid follower of the news. I've been closely following the GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) space since around 2020. While I support advances in science, I strongly believe in the need for guardrails to ensure the safety of GLP practices.
I started using Mounjaro in late 2022, but my insurance company discontinued coverage, so I switched to Wegovy in 2023/2024. In 2024, my insurance began covering Zepbound again, but I was recently denied access to Zepbound by my insurance company.
After being taken off Mounjaro in 2023, I became interested in online discussions about research chemicals and have been following that topic ever since.
My ultimate goal is to no longer have my future dictated by my insurance company.
