Lost that Week 1 'Zing' with Reta?

Hey all!

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with losing that real bust of energy from the first week of using Reta?

My first week gave me a real energy boost. It was like I had just had a couple of coffees. Not over the top, like over doing caffeine, but a real 'pep in my step' kind of thing?

After week 1, I kind of didnt feel it anymore. The zip I had seems to have gone now and id like to try and get it back!

For reference, I started at 0.5mg! Couple of weeks at that, then up to 1. Then to 2 after a few more weeks. I eventually titrated up to 4 but had to drop back a little for other reasons.

Id up my dose to try and chase that feeling again, but it tanks my appetite too much!
 
I certainly did. That first week was like being on Adderall for me - focus, energy, just getting things done. I get flashes of it the day or 2 after I pin now, but not the same.

I'm at end of week 3 at 1mg and contemplating bumping up on this next one.

Yes! Thats exactly what it was like. A friend of mine explained it like 'Aimbot Eyes' (if you're a gamer you'll know what that is). I do miss it, but perhaps im just used to it!

I stuck at 3 for a while, went to 4mg for one week, back down to 3 as I needed a recomp week. Now im back to 4.
I never even got that zing lol
Ah shame for you! It was awesome!
Switching from Zep to reta I noticed an energy boost. I still have it but I'm used to it so it's not as cool. Don't chase that, brother.
Yeah, you're probably right - I just got used to it.

Also right, I wont be chasing it. I just missed that feeling and wondered if others had managed to get the same.
 
I had the opposite happen. Weeks 2 thru 4 on reta, my exhaustion was bad. Especially afternoon crashes after having a protein shake. I felt like I had narcolepsy sometimes, it was so bad. All I wanted to do was sleep. I have insomnia normally, so it was weird for me. I don't have any of that now.
 
That was my experience for the first 2-3 months. But it faded. I still feel a lot better than baseline but my house isn’t getting deep cleaned after a 12 hour workday just because I have too much energy anymore.
