I am currently taking 1.5mg Reta 1x/weekly. Minimal food noise, aside towards the end of the week, I can feel it lessen. I see so many people who are on much higher doses than me, 6, 8, and then of course the clinical trial doses. Am I dosing too low? Should I start to increase slowly, weekly as I feel the effectiveness lessen? I have been thinking about splitting my dose and pinning two times per week as opposed to my full dose once. I’m new to this so be gentle with me!

It's okay to go slow; I started my wife at 0.5mg as she was concerned about potential side effects. If you've been on 1.5mg for at least a couple weeks, bump it to 2mg for two weeks and do the 0.5mg bump every two weeks until you feel like the hunger signaling isn't bothering you -- for example I pin Sunday evening and if I start to get hungry on Thursday, I know it's time to increase again. If I start to get hungry on Saturday, I stay at the same dose.

Due to serum concentration levels and signaling peaks, I don't personally think it is necessary to split your dose; dose splitting came into play more as a means to mitigate some of the side effects rather than maximizing effectiveness of the peptide. I would rather see someone doing 3mg in a single pin weekly than two 1.5mg every 3.5 days (assuming no side effects) just due to the 3mg sending a stronger signal. Splitting won't kill you, and there's nothing inherently wrong with it, I just wanted to provide a little background.

It's alright that you're being patient. The patient people tend to have long-term success. Consider the gradual bumping up; there's no race to find maximum dosing without side effects if you get benefits from a lower dose.

GO BIG OR GO HOME

Just kidding. Have you lost any weight at all on reta yet? How long have you been on GLPs?

Found most of the answers in your intro:

I’ve lost 30 pounds naturally in the past which put me at 150 (FELT GREAT, so confident, happy), but weighed 248 after giving birth, was 223 when starting reta, 215 currently. Milk supply is good. I would love to get to 150 again, where I felt good.

Do you still have problems sleeping on reta?
