I decided to check on just how accurate nasal spray bottles are. I tested a 30ml Snoot glass bottle and a 10m plastic bottle. I also used scale that is accurate to .001g.

For each bottle I would fill it up with saline, primed it, and took an initial weight. I sprayed 5 times and then reweighed it. Any time I had an obvious misfire I dropped that group. I did this until I had 200 good groups. At the end I came up with an average weight change between sprays and converted that to ml.

So at the end of the day the interesting thing is the bottles are listed as .1ml per spray. The glass 30ml bottle averaged .0863ml per spray. The plastic 10ml bottle averaged .1526ml per spray.

Sooooo yet another variable to control for in research!
