Ok, tomorrow I'm getting all 4. I have a protocol for NAD. Dr. Seed's book says to take 100mcg subQ daily of Selank and 100mcg subQ daily of semax. He says the semax and selank can be alternated. I was thinking of just taking both at the same time. But for how long? Do I cycle? Do I titrate up? The book does not say. Also bought The Peptides Bible and it doesn't say either. And Dr. Seed's book says 215mg cerebrolysin every day for a 4 week cycle. But doesn't say how long to be off before going back on. And do I titrate up? The other book isn't clear for me either. Any suggestions on how I should take this stack?

So, after further research... cerebrolysin is only manufactured by 1 company and starting dose, according to the masses, is 5ml, which means the 30g of cerebrolysin I bought is not true cerebrolysin. It must be cerebroprotein or something like that. Anyone know what the dose suggestions is for that? Or if it's any good? The more I read the more I realize I know nothing. 🤔😕

Also, going to have to learn to filter if I buy true cerebrolysin. Might not be a bad idea to learn how to filter regardless.

Seems like it would also benefit me to get used to using aliquots. A lot to learn...

I believe I can share alot of insight here. But, I need to understand your goal. What are you trying achieve by taking each of them?

NAD - energy. The other 3, years of alcohol and substance abuse. Sober since 2019. Hoping to counter the damage I've done to my brain. 43 now and thinking is difficult at times. Know what I mean? 😕

There is no judgement here. And congrats on 6+ years of sobriety! That's a huge achievement.
  • NAD+ is excellent for your goals. It directly supports cellular energy and neuronal repair. Start with 50-75mg subq 3x weekly. Many people notice improved mental clarity within 2-4 weeks. The anti-aging benefits are a bonus.
  • For Semax, you're right about the blood-brain barrier issue. N-acetyl Semax Amidate is the superior choice: 200-300mcg subq daily for 2-4 weeks, then cycle off for 1-2 weeks. It's specifically designed to cross the BBB and enhance cognitive function and neuroplasticity.
  • Selank (especially N-acetyl Selank Amidate) is great for anxiety reduction and stress resilience, but you're correct it's more about mood stabilization than direct neural repair. Still valuable for recovery.
  • Cerebrolysin shows promise for neuroregeneration but requires careful dosing and cycling. Consider it as a secondary addition.

Key supplements I would research and add to your stack (based on your goals) are:
  • Lion's Mane (500-1000mg daily): Stimulates nerve growth factor (NGF) production, promoting neurogenesis and myelin repair. Clinical studies show improved cognitive function after 4-8 weeks.
  • N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (500-750mg daily): Precursor to dopamine and norepinephrine - crucial for focus and motivation, especially important given your history.
  • Citicoline (250-500mg daily): Enhances brain phospholipid synthesis, improves memory formation, and supports overall brain metabolism.
  • Omega-3 (2-3g EPA/DHA daily): Essential for neuronal membrane health and reducing neuroinflammation from past damage.
This stack would address both immediate energy/focus needs and long-term neuroregeneration. Recovery takes time, but you're on the right path!
