New 10% tariffs on goods from China

He worked things out to get tiktok back up and running when it was going to be shut down, but now people can't get their tiktok shop stuff?

Same USPS that takes every step they can to get out of doing their job.
- Have a pinecone on the ground infront of a mailbox? "Can't access mailbox."
- Here's a multi-million (potentially billion) dollar contract to deliver Amazon. "Nope. That's too much work."
- Former owners had a dog that barked and seemed "scary" 6 years ago. (Today) "Dangerous dog. Can't deliver mail."
- 1" of snow falls. Frantically shoveling and de-icing mailbox area and driveway. 30 minutes later, mail truck goes by. "Mailbox plowed in with snow. Can't access mailbox."

It's the same song and dance with USPS. They really need to pick a team. Either be a private sector company ... or be a government controlled and operated department. This half-in-half-out sh*t is so obnoxious. I get they struggle to hire ... but doesn't everyone these days???
Congress has spent decades neutering USPS and making it as difficult as possible for them to function properly. They don't want to behave like a half-in-half-out organization, they've been forced to.

Oh ffs who is sitting around making these insanely disruptive decisions that don’t seem to have any purpose or objective
They can't comply with the de minimis exception being removed. Don't have the infrastructure or people power to do it. This is their only option if they want to comply with the latest EO.

CBP does the actual inspection, etc., but USPS is responsible for all duty payments on the goods. They don't have any way to deal with the sheer volume of duty and tax payments they would need to handle for everything flowing through them from China.
