Hi all!
I am happy to be here in this community. In my two years of research and taking this medication, communities such as this one have been such a life saver. Everything I learn from you all, I share with family and friends who are interested or also taking the medication and are lost and clueless due to the lack of real information out there. I have been diagnosed with PCOS since I was about 15 years old and it has been such a struggle. I felt hopeless with the weight gain, inflammation, facial hair growth, insulin resistance, and irregular cycles. Once I heard of this medication and saw the research and testimonies, I knew it could be my only hope. It took me a while to work up the courage to ask my pcp for the wegovy rx but surprisingly she was all for it. Unfortunately my insurance stopped covering it after 6 months. I gained most of the weight I lost back. Finding the compound community has been amazing. I have lost about 40 lbs and have a regular cycle again!. I look forward to continuing to learn from you all and contribute my thoughts and feelings. We are all in this together!
