So I started my dose on Reta on Sunday evening, Monday and Today and I noticed a huge appetite suppression. However this evening I have been really hungry, does that mean it’s wearing off?

Also I have noticed a mark/ patch next to the injection sight, is this normal or a reaction. See photo below:

It takes time for the effects to build up. For me was about 1 week and half. However other takes up to 4 weeks.

Few times I have gotten like a bruise near the site of the injection, so I think your mark or patch is normal, unless other symptoms follow.

Any info on how much you used, how did you mix it? im sure you have the Reta in a cold place for storage? Im not a Reta guy but,

This looks to be normal and common with subcutaneous peptides and other GLP-1/GIP/glucagon agonists. Mild redness, a small patch, warmth, itching, or slight swelling/erythema at or near the site affects 5–15% in trials and user reports, it's usually a localized inflammatory or immune response to the injection (not full allergy). It typically resolves in 24–48 hours (sometimes up to a few days) without issues. Tips to help:
Apply a cold compress to reduce it.
Rotate sites (abdomen, thighs, arms) to avoid buildup.
Let the vial/pen reach room temp before injecting (cold solution can irritate more).
Use proper technique: clean site, pinch skin, inject slowly, don't rub hard.

If the patch spreads, gets very itchy/painful, develops pus, fever, or lasts > a week, that's when to monitor closely.

It doesn't mean it's wearing off. This is one of peculiarities of Retatrutide, where users feel "really hungry" after a period of no hunger, but aren't actually hungry. Next time you feel like that, just try to eat a full meal and report back what you discover 🙂

I've been on Reta for 7 weeks, and the appetite suppression is real. We've kind of changed the way we eat to deal with that. At first I was never hungry, but that was my fault. Drinking to much water and a few other things. Simple breakfast, maybe a hard boiled egg, sausage and toast. Fried egg sandwich and a couple sausage deals my wife makes. Lunch is a protein shake. Dinner is a small piece of meat, chicken or maybe fish with a steamed veggie, or cottage cheese or a small salad. Again, our (wife and me) appetite has decreased a crap load, but that helps I think. We also eat dinner at 5-5:30. It's been working, as I'm now down 19lbs in the time frame I mention. Good luck.

I used to get a reaction like that. I started using a longer needle and it never happened again

Agreed, that is definitely something to try if using short needles. I use 12mm needles and don't have any issues and I don't feel anything. I have seen a couple of people say changing from the tiny 4mm to 8mm helped too.

Thanks all for the feedback.

So I took a starting dose of 2.5mg, which was in a pen.

I probably kept out of the fridge for 5 minutes before injection. Using I think a 4mm needle.

Update: The mark has started to fade, wasn’t painful or anything. Appetite suppression is definitely starting to wear off I have found it easier to eat and I actually felt proper hunger where I could eat a meal instead of snack. Interesting though my nipples have started to get very sensitive, but I was expecting some sensitivity as a side effect.

When i first started injecting I had red and itching on and off, but after a couple months it all stopped. I imagine it was my body not being used to a foreign object and was rejecting it.

Interesting. I was the opposite. I was at least 6 months in before I started getting the raised, itchy welt at pin site. Longer needle stopped that
