Thanks for sharing your experience with Tesonfensine. I read this is serotonin/noradrenaline/dopamine reuptake inhibitor. Reads to me like multi mechanism medication like SSRIs and SNRIs (anti depressant).I've been using Tesofensine since July with 10mg/week of tirz. Tirz was great for losing my first 50 lbs., but then my weight loss pace slowed down by half. For 7 months, I was only losing 0-5 lbs even though I still had 90 lbs to lose. Even on tirz, my metabolism is still a good bit slower than average for my height and weight.
Tesofensine supposedly speeds up your metabolism. Sure seems like it! I lost 6 lbs the first month. Added 2mg/week of reta the second month, but that was the only vial I had to experiment with. I lost 8 lbs that month. I went back to just tirz/tesofensine after that and have been losing 5 lbs/month since.
Tesofensine also adds some extra appetite suppression, but I kept my calories the same. If anything, I've had a little more flexibility in being able to have more calories or carbs sometimes without it hurting my weight loss pace.
It's technically not a peptide and it's in pill form, so I'm not sure if the Chinese peptide companies carry it. I've gotten it from various US labs. I tried it from Solution Peptides first, but then I found it a lot cheaper at Biostrategix. It's normal price at SP is $119 for 30 500mcg pills. The normal price at Biostrategix is $185 for 120 500mcg pills and they have a perpetual 10% discount code that is Rollins10 (not associated with me). I take one 500mcg pill a day, usually in the morning. Some people take 1,000mcg/day.
Now I am here on this forum looking for quality, cheaper options for both tirz and reta. I'm almost to my goal weight (yay!), but I will always need to take a GLP-1. I planning to wean myself off tirz and onto reta. My dream is to open up my diet more once I'm in maintenance and teso/reta will allow me even more calories by speeding up my metabolism. Y'all, I'm only 5'0". I wouldn't be surprised if maintenance for me is only 1100 calories/day. I need all the help I can get, lol!
Have you experienced any mood changes? Any sides?
Also, I'd be careful not to stop it suddenly, and instead reduce the dosage gradually loke it's recommended for such anti-depressants.
