So I know how to do the reconstituting and all that math. My question is if I have a 30mg vile and reconstitute with 3ml of bac for a weekly 7.5mg dose, is injecting 75 units a bit much for one injection?

I’m only on a 2.5mg dose but my wife is moving over from her zepbound 7.5 pens to grey market and I wasn’t sure if that’s too much liquid for one injection or if any issues should arise. Or should I reconstitute with 1ml of bac for a 25 unit (7.5mg) injection?

This paragraph contradicts itself by saying you know how to do the math and then going on to miscalculate the math
1. Vial
2. You're not reconstituting a vial with 30mL of bac. Those vials only hold 3ml.
3. 30mg + 1mL bac = 7.5mg in 25 units. Easy peasy.

You are correct the 30 was a typo. I meant to say 3ml not 30. I always reconstitute my Reta with 1ml bac to a 10mg vial so the math is easy 10 units to 1mg. To do that the same with a 30mg I would use 3ml of bac but wasn’t sure if 75 units is too much to inject not from a dosing standpoint but from a liquid volume standpoint if that makes sense. I just wanted to see how others are doing it.

I am on the 7.5MG dose and reconstitute my 30mg with 1ML BAC water so the 7.5MG dose will be 25 units. I prefer not to inject so many units at once, mainly because I have an over abundance of 30 unit syringes to use

Ok that’s what I was thinking to. 75 units just seems like a high fluid volume for single injection. Thank you.

75 units is a lot subq. 50 units is even uncomfortable for me, so I prefer to stay at 30 or fewer for a dose of whatever.

Looking at google it appears all zepbound pens are loaded with 50 units regardless of dosage so I think the 1ml-2ml bac will be perfect.
Yes, that is true.
More bac makes the dosing more accurate, especially if you're worried about too much or too little.
But since I have a choice and am not too concerned, I choose less subq liquid.
I generally shoot for 20 units per dose as a good compromise between accuracy and my personal comfort.
